America is very powerful, do you know how much they budget for defense? It will takes years cos they are doing everything necessary to remain there,same thing they are doing now to Huawei, remember this security thing started with ZTE and it really affected them.

they see the Chinese as a bully. it hasn't help that china is building military bases and island on the sea, which puts it in direct conflict with Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, India and Myanmar. I don't see this countries doing security conscious business with China. especially Vietnam and India.

America is China's biggest market, secondly if you've read the report clearly, you would have seen "that countries are suspicious of their cyber safety". They are seen as state agent.

No! Apple and Samsung will take Huawei mobile space. Since they've denied them of Android platform, which OS will they use? Any OS void of Facebook, Whatsapp, Twitter, Quora and Instagram will deny Huawei access like Android, do you think it will fly? Will Europe use Baidu, TikTok, and Momo.

The case of Huawei and Apple are completely different. Huawei is not based in America. It’s not a direct employer of labor in the US. It doesn’t generate revenue for the US government. Apple on the other hand, though it’s an American company, it employs thousands of Chinese. It pays taxes to Chinese government. That’s why Apple cannot suffer any backlash from the government of China. Apple contributes a great deal developing Chinese economy as Chinese employer of labor and a source of tax revenue to Chinese government. Huawei is just a parasite on US economy.

China can do Apple nothing. China would not like to shoot itself in the foot.

i understand your perspective but looking at it critically Apple is just one of those tech companies doing biz in China so if the Chinese government decides to hurt them they would be in trouble China’s labour wud still thrive with or without Apples patronage it might just affect them and as regards the labor another company is just gonna fill the void and tap into the market!

Well they can just stick with Samsung and other European companies like Nokia and besides their brands like xiaomi are doing pretty well too!so China might easily hurt Apple products sales in China
