Nigeria market is my target.......
RESHARPENED:

Your website looks quite professional. It looks like you spent a lot building it.

Your pricing displays in Naira, are you exclusively targeting the Nigerian market?.

have u tried the Amazon stuff B4?

I'm just thinking of starting from Amazon...

I know of people doing Amazon FBA, but I myself haven't delved into it based on the tight Amazon Policies..and truth is you don't just jump into it...Cause you may spend all your cash stocking products in Amazon's warehouse and at the end of the day, it wouldn't sell. You have to test the waters with the dropshipping model first, once you find a winner launch FBA on it.

$600-800 for a start

Thing is you're gonnna lose $150-200 initially, as you'd be testing the waters and diff products as well as adset to find out what works... It's advised to spend $25-50 testing a product... You may end up testing 4-6 before finding a solid winner...

You'd start making your $150 loss back, when you scale on your already found winner...And can make your loss back in one day, 3 days or lesser depending on how fast you scale..

So don't think the whole $700 is gonna be invested... PayPal may hold your funds for 21 days(as a new seller), stripe will take 7 Business days to send the money to your account, so within that period, you'd have to use your personal cash to fulfill orders while awaiting the payment from your payment providers

Well, I hardly go to WhatsApp.. And I want everyone to gain some knowledge from this thread... We've hidden information too much... If I do decide to make a guide concerning this, then I'd create a WhatsApp group specifically for showing individuals how to create a PayPal acct and how to withdraw their funds..

In fact, I'm planning on doing a 30-Day challenge where I create a new stripe acct, new PayPal and take a new store to 8-10k in 30 days and will document every single step on here and on YouTube...

Be careful with Stripe and PayPal.

Stripe can freeze your funds when you have made so much money and demand for authentic US details like:

1.) SSN
2.) EIN
3.) TIN

I think the safest way to create a reliable stripe account as a non US person is to register an LLC, then use it to file to get an EIN for free, and then get a paid US phone number and address and use them to register stripe.

This way, your funds will be safe because you are legal.

We provide logistics solutions for people who want to drop ship items from China to anywhere in the world.

You just need to send the link of the product you found on 1688, aliexpress taobao, etc to us and we will buy it for you and ship to your buyer from China.

So you can create your own website, list items on China websites and then promote them and when you get sales you use our Dropshipping model to fulfil them.

You can use paystack or voguepay as your payment gateway on your website to receive money from international buyers on your website.

That's how most of our clients have been doing.

We also help buy goods in China and send goods directly to Amazon FBA warehouses in US.

We package according to Amazon FBA guidelines.

You can chat us for details of our various ecommerce business solutions and services

LLC = Limited Liability Company under US company, allied laws. If you register this, you will now have the legal right to run a legal business in the US, and with it, you can contact US Federal Inland Revenue Service to issue you EIN (Employer Identification Number) which can replace SSN or TIN.

With all that, you can now legally register an Amazon US seller account and operate as a US business....and also register with stripe legally and even PayPal to send and receive money.

It's no news that dropshipping is getting really really popular in Nigeria, with the likes of Degenius and the rest actively promoting it.

I know every one successfully involved in Dropshipping wouldn't be active on this platform, definitely. I'm doing good in dropshipping and hardly am I here on Nairaland... I only come when I need to exchange my funds.

I remember when I used to scout Nairaland for chicken change, lol...I feel I can help give back to the community and my fellow hustlers..

I'd like to know how many of you are GENUINELY successful with dropshipping, and maybe we can share one or two ideas that could help those planning on venturing into this business model.
I will like to setup e-commerce store..
Can you do this

I mean, you have to test a bunch of products in your niche to find out what the Market wants, before launching FBA around that product. This way you are certain that the product will sell.

It's pretty easy, you'd have to play around with some things..

It depends on the web platform you want to use.

You could opt in for Shopify or Woocommerce.

There are lots of videos on YouTube regarding store creation. It's not something I can teach with written or typed words.

Hey Bro thanks for sharing info about this dropshipping of a thing.

My friend and I have planned to set up a shopify store at the end of this month. We've budgeted to spend around $150 for ads in our first month, and also we are also looking on dropshipping women's accessories.

Please what advice can you give to us?

Thanks a million.

My advise will be to save up enough cash and follow some pretty good individuals in the field. The likes of Rito (Flying start online), Franklin Hatchett, Gabriel St-Germain, Chris Waller(King Comm), Nick peroni.

This is totally correct. These guys you mentioned are doing great in the dropshipping business. I follow them - some other successful dropshippers I follow include Jordan Welch, Gabriel Beltran, arie scherson. Arie and Jordan free course on YouTube can get anyone started in the journey... They also have paid courses too, but I can tell anyone that if you're serious and follow their free content on YouTube.. You're going to get started on something and making sales. If anyone needs their paid courses, I have them. You can reach out

BTW, Op. Thanks for the push again! What has been stopping me is the payment processor. Can I have a guide on how you opened a verified stripe account and also the PayPal account you use.? If I can get these solved, I don't think I have any issues as regards starting the business anymore.

Side note! Dropshipping requires alot of time! At the end, it is very profitable.
