Nothing will shock anybody.you clearly do not know how politics or elections are played in Nigeria.you have never been involved in campaigns obviously.it is who campaigns and spends most that carries out the day.these reps are like normal nigerian voters,they can be easily be induced.no matter the hatred for a candidate from a community,if he campaigns in that community rigorously and the other candidate they like doesn't,he will likely get their votes.

pdp was sleeping and re still sleeping that was why the lost 2019
elections woefully .the Apc states they won was a result of people against governor not some pdp magic. Pdp won Sokoto, Bauchi gov seat , yet apc cleared the Senate seats and also who majority in house of reps and and state house of assembly.
Saraki was able to survive oshomole because of he was constantly adjourning plenary sessions, . It got to a stage the Senate President was forced to sleep at the Senate car pack to avoid impeachment. Saraki too was afraid of oshomole unlike the way he was treating oyegun like an house boy.

Saraki, kwankaso, Dogara was the reason why pdp can back to life in 2015, today they re no more.

so where is saraki currently ? Because last time I checked he has been ousted
