whats in a name,i dont think that should be a problem,just that the name is so much associated with lots of negativity eg coup plots,reccession,insecurity,restiveness,electoral malpractices,islamization,tribalism,nepotism,incompetency,fulanization,northernization,illiteracy,failing health sector,poor exchange rate and a host of others.
However,let the brigde be built first,then 'when we get to the bridge,we will cross over'!

Second Niger bridge is a PPP project not wholly finance by FG, large portion comes from Julius Berger, JB as a major shareholder can only determine what name for the bridge
