Is it allowed Islam for a female to wear any kinds of artificial such as extension, Brazilian hair, and so on?

It is now a tradition in our world today where a woman tries on varieties of beauty enhancement just look gorgeous as they say. Regarding wearing artificial hair such as Brazilian or any other kinds is haram in Islam and every believing woman should never put them on.

This below Hadith justifies the prohibition of this act.

Narrated by 'Aaisha (may Allaah be pleased with her) that an Ansari woman gave her daughter in marriage and the hair of the latter started falling out. The Ansari women came to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings be upon him) and mentioned that to him and said, "Her (my daughter's) husband suggested that I should let her wear false hair." The Messenger of Allaah (Pbuh) said, "No, (don't do that) for Allaah sends His curses upon such ladies who lengthen their hair artificially."

Please note that your husband doesn't have the right to legalise what Allaah and His messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم have prohibited.

Many of us need to understand this. Our parents, leaders, mosque imam and husband shouldn't be followed when they ask us to commit an act of disobedience.

So also, it is wrong to seek the pleasure of the created with an act or statement that the Creator is displeased with.

So, try to explain to your husband that you want to be as Allaah created you. I'm sure he'll like it.

Both the parties should base their family on Islamic laws and principles. If the husband does not know it, you explain for him accordingly cum with some evidence. But if he refuses and wants his will to prevail, there is no way a creature will have control over the creator. You follow the creator and not what HE has created. Wa Lallaah' alam.
