I look out for the domain name and a secure page though some sites don’t do it for me it comes with my server I also don’t click WhatsApp link like that o

You can spoof the URL with code that'd make it change to data;text:html, you won't see it.. A determined person can also register a similar domain name and make the Page https

Https or page being secure sn't an indication of anything

it means that the connection is secure and encrypted so it matters even browsers nowadays will warn you an insecure site can be hacked and their payment gateway hacked and sensitive data gotten the SSL ensures this can’t happen. I get mails everytime people try to hack my site lol I even have their IP address I lock them out for 4 hours each time till they try again why would my username be Test lol

He might have done a transaction online with his card that was not secured.

For me o, I get one separate account wey I dey use for AliExpress and any other online transactions. I no dey use my life savings account for anything o. In fact, my life savings account no get ATM.
