Hello house, first time poster here. I was wondering if anyone here knows if it's faster to get a Nigerian passport vs a Nigerian visa. I have an expired Nigerian passport. I would be looking to get either for myself and 3 year old daughter and we would be applying from Denver Colorado. I would really like input from those that have done it . Many thanks in advance. |

boleepa:Hello, Getting a Nigerian Visa is much faster and it will be for a 2-year period (Visiting visa-multiple entry). You should get it between 1 week or 2 weeks. However, getting a Nigerian Passport may take like between 3-4 weeks or even longer (depending on the Consulate). You can ask to do an Expedited service. The Passport should last for 5 years, as minimum period of validity. Cheers! |

I don’t know about the consulate that serves the Denver area. However in NYC got my passport same day. I didnt know any embassy official and I didn’t pay extra and it wasn’t expedited service. Paid for it online came early in the morning and came back before they closed to pick it up. |
