It was a shock moment as Kano State Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje Suspends Kano Emirate Council led by Mallam Muhammadu Sanusi II On Misappropriation Of #3.4Billion. According to Kano State Public complaint and Anti-Corruption commission dated May 31, 2019 on the misappropriation of fund which occurred between 2014-2017. In concurrence to our source, we learnt that the suspension takes effect immediately as issued by the Secretary to the State Government Alhaji Usman to allow the concern anti corruption body investigate the misappropriation without any form of hindrance. Dont know how true this news is but it would make sense. There's clearly alot corruption in the Emirate. They need to suspend all parties under investigation so they cant cover their tracks. After that they should prosecute. |

It's very okay!!! Kano Anti-Corruption Commission said they found evidence money was spent that without due process. 21 unregistered companies were assigned contracts. In the long report summary they mentioned Sanusi having unusually high telephone bills... (N54, 111,055.00) were expended by the Emirate Council from 2014 to 2017 on payment of airtime/data to Airtel Network Ltd. mostly on personal phone numbers. In his statement, Isah Bayero denied using his line to incur expenditure worth 25.6 Million while the remaining 29M was incurred by the Emir, his wives and Mannir Sanusi. |
