first and foremost you need a PC in order to revive your phone.
Before you attempt anything please kindly confirm the status of your bootloader by following the procedure in this link

If your bootloader is unlock, you can just skip to guide C, by flashing custom recovery and placing flashable stock recovery ROM on your removable SD card and insert the SD card into your phone and flash to revive your phone or better still by flashing fastboot ROM.

Your device need flashing. I am guessing this is a problem with EMMC

if your bootloader is lock, the best option to revive your phone is by flashing stock ROM via EDL mode

sorry couldn't find a guide that will enable you to boot your device into EDL mode by pressing some combination of buttons on recent xiaomi devices unlike their previous devices which one can easily access EDL mode by pressing combination of buttons ( volume button & power button)

The only way one can boot xiaomi phone into EDL mode is via test point by following the guide below

You can also watch video tutorial on YouTube on how one can boot redmi note 5 into EDL mode.

Instead of you going through all those trouble kindly apply for bootloader unlock to unlock the bootloader and flash new ROM via fastboot mode
