No. I was answering to this posting. But everything possible. Visa is a very long and expensive process, add to it his history and if they engage in a waiver process, it will be very long and very expensive, anybody can leave or divorce in the process. He needs to pray hard, he will not be asked about his previous application. If he is not asked, he doesn't need to answer and he may get his spouse visa easy.

Your friend can just do one and same person affidavit, and also do newspaper change of name, with that there is enough evidence to back it up, not as hard as it seems

OP, I would have advised you to buy a ticket, return to Nigeria and then file a new application but people will scare you so just pray and file under your real identity

I don’t know when you started applying for a visa to the US . The consular are not fools and they are aware of this since our brothers working with them at the embassies gave them a clue. Since about 14 years ago. What do you mean by implication u scared they are going to take their papers away.nah. As u can see a document during adjustment when things already became tougher

he should go to court and do change of name to his old name, the do news paper publication. easy and simple.

Don't listen to the wrong advice. Your wrong behavior can be forgiven with the help of your USC fiance(e) / spouse. Better wait a little longer and fix your documents for real in your country before departure, you will later live a good life and no worries.
But if you are not asked and given Fiance(e) or Spouse visa, you don't need to tell more than they ask, you are good to go. Good luck!

A friend has an issue. Traveling agent advice a brother to use her sister as wife to process us tourist visa but they are both deny the visa.along the processing the agent change sister's father and mother's name on the ds-160 cos they don't want the consular to know they are family.but they still bears the Same name on the international passport.now lately the brother met a us citizen and they are planning to settle down soon.if the us citizen file for the brother how is he going to help her sister come to the us ? Since the both parents name are different.he can't file for her as sister cos they now have different parents name.how can he help her sister come to the us?
