80 Nigerians Deported By Indonesian Government For Spraying Money During Pastor Odumeje’s

Prophet Chukwuemeka Odumeje’s recent visit to Indonesia, is being scrutinised by the Indonesian government as over alleged “display of wealth at the event”. The church program was reportedly organized by some Nigerians living in Jakarta and it allegedly began with spraying of money which is said to be part of the Anambra-based Pastor’s style of ministration.

The display of wealth has led to the arrest of Nigerians who are reportedly undocumented migrants without work permit and valid visa. According to reports, over 80 Nigerians have been deported already with more to come, as Landlords in the country have been asked to report undocumented Nigerians living in their property or lose it all to the Indonesian government.

It was learnt that the Indonesian government are wondering how undocumented migrants without valids visas or work permit came about such amount of money."

And there's even very high probability that those monies were proceeds of drugs, despite the fact that Indonesia probably has the strictest antidrug law - execution.

The country was quick to deport them , but Nigeria is not letting go, this is the real issue, Nigeria should have done away with biafra same ways Malaysia did away with singapore and India did away with Bangladesh and Pakistan . this is the a real problem

So-called “Spraying Money” is a Nigerian tradition that the world tried to sanction Nigerians from doing but failed and now many of them are copying. It is now a tradition, slowly becoming a part of international urban and popular culture and for which Nigerians should be proud. The lesson to draw from this is, hold on to your cultural practices, foods, music, dresses, ceremonies and so on. Be proud of them even in the face of foreign condemnations and attempted sanctions, eventually the world will copy you. Remember that the World attacks on African ways and culture are visages of industrial methods used to enslave Africa by the European powers.
