I may talk. The problem is not keywords. Its the niche you chose.

I made only 4$ this month. 30$ last month.

I'm preparing more books. I don't have money for hiring people.

Write what's popular in bestsellers or hot niche.

Then keywords will populate themselves.

My books are only 12 days old.

Lol...we're in the same shoes. I don't have money to hire people too. Just finished a book last week. Yet to upload it though.
I think even if you write what's popular or bestselling, you'll need to do proper keyword research to better your chances of showing up andmaking sales especially for low budget publishers who don't have the cash to invest heavily on ads.
You started last month?
How many books do you have now?

Launching New Services

For those who cannot afford the Mentorship program, you now have the option to purchase the below services in isolation:

1. Profitable Keyword

I provide you with a profitable keyword you can publish your book in, including suggestions for your book title (and subtitle).

Price - N5000

2. Book Outline

I provide you with a word document book outline for your intended book. This is basically a document you present to your ghostwriter telling him/her what topics you want your book to cover (chapter by chapter breakdown). It helps to guide your writer(s) so as to minimize the amount of fluff they have in your book (when writers run out of ideas on what to write, they tend to fill up your book with fluff just to make up the word count required).

It also helps you to prevent fraudulent writers (on upwork, fiverr etc.) that sell you work they have done for other people, exposing you to copyright issues with Amazon. With a detailed outline, you take away some of the power from them and tell them exactly what YOU want (as opposed to them giving you what THEY want)

I'll do research in the niche your book is in so as to figure out customer pain points, how you can differentiate your book and, consequently, the topic of each chapter of your book.

I'll also suggest what you can use for your lead magnet (should you want to build an email list)

Price - N20,000

3. Access to my writers

I give you access to my writers who you can take your outline to and expect to get quality work at a fair price. They can also help you create your lead magnet (a document you give your readers in exchange for their email address). With this lead magnet, you can start growing your email list of subscribers who you can market things to e.g. online courses, affiliate marketing products, your other books etc.

Price - N10,000

4. Set up your email autoresponder

If you provide me with your lead magnet (should be less than 10MB in size), the email address you want to use and a physical mailing address, I'll help you create a free Mailchimp email autoresponder account, design your landing page and incorporate the link to the landing page inside your Kindle book (word manuscript) so that when your readers click on it, they'll be taken to the landing page where they'll input their email address in exchange for your lead magnet.

You can also use this link on your website or Instagram account to build your email list (especially if you have an Instagram store where you sell stuff e.g. bags, shoes, books etc).

Furthermore, I'll also help you write up the subscriber welcome email. If you provide links to your other books on Amazon, I'll include them in the subscriber welcome email so they can purchase it as well(if they wish to).

Price - N20,000

5. Set up Amazon Marketing Ads For Your Book

If you have the budget to run ads to your book, I'll help you set up AMS ads that will increase exposure to your book and sales.

Price - N20,000

If you are interested in purchasing any of the above packages, shoot me an email at ObinnaEzeanaka@yahoo.com

Note - As these services are new, I'm testing to see how they'll affect my schedule. If I get overwhelmed with demand, these prices will go up.
Good day HeliosHay
Two of the several beneficiaries of this thread called my attention to your recently reinforced and incessant push to sell your mentorship and other services on this thread.
I can see you have been answering questions and providing some useful information. I also have seen that you have answers to any question or challenge thrown at you about the sincerity of your intentions (by people who suspect that you are a scammer).

However, you have continuously littered almost every page of this thread From February 11th, practically begging people to pay for your mentorship and other services.

The purpose of starting this thread, started in 2013, was not to make money. It was is to reveal what I discovered about KDP which later evolved to online publishing and build a community of successful Nigerian online publishers. The one on training and DVD of publishing materials that people pay me for started after many people requested that I make them available and they will pay. I have not and will not advertise these or any services. It takes a lot of my time and is a great distraction to the increasing targets of my publishing business.

Many people have had great financial growth through this thread (I am talking of substantial regular monthly income, cars bought and houses built). Some of them did not even pay me or any other person one kobo. We want to maintain the spirit of this thread by keeping it non-commercial.

Please, take your mentorship and other services to your own thread, build your followership and get the “customers” you seem to be in dire need of. We don’t want it here. Stop littering this thread with your adverts for mentorship and other services.

I believe if you truly are making the amount of money shown on the screenshots you posted; you will not be here begging people night and day to pay for your mentorship. I had to double the fee for my one-on-one training to discourage people from coming because of the burden of providing support for the large community of people that I have trained.

I stopped commenting on this thread regularly because I saw that we now have a good number of people capable of providing answers to the questions of new entrants into the business although I still answer all requests through email. It’s unfortunate that you see it as an opportunity to make money.

Again, take your mentorship and other services to your own thread, build your followership and get the “customers” you seem to be in dire need of. We don’t want it here. Stop littering this thread with your adverts for mentorship and other services.
Thank you.

That's rich coming from you.

With all due respect, I'm not begging people for mentorship and services and I don't have anything to prove to you. My screenshots speak for themselves.

This is a thread about Kindle Publishing and I can provide any input whenever I wish. If people need assistance from me I'll offer it

I'd appreciate if you do not call my integrity in question again. I find it offensive that you'll insinuate I misrepresent my earnings to mislead people.

Below is a screenshot of my earnings last month (KDP march earnings paid in May, and ACX Audiobook April earnings paid in May). As you can see, I have no need to lie about what I make. Perhaps you can show me yours.

Thanks

It's well.

I respect mk for what he's done and yes, I admit, I imposed myself on his thread. For that, I apologize.

However, I took offence to him suggesting I'm a scammer who doesn't earn as much as I say I earn. That was uncalled for. That I respect mk, doesn't mean I'm going to let him call my integrity in question without proof. I have been very transparent with my earnings.

Things can be said in a civilized way and with respect without resulting to insults or calling someone a scammer.

That being said, MK, I apologize for selling my services on your thread. That was unprofessional of me and I wouldn't like it if someone did the same on my thread. For that, I sincerely apologize.

Whenever I can provide free advise that'll benefit people on this thread I'll humbly chip in.

Happy publishing everyone.

I did think long and hard about whether if I were in your shoes, I'd charge people that much to learn from me.

My sincere answer was No.

Not on Nairaland.

For me, this is a community. This is my own Nigeria. This is my country. I have received a lot from here and if saying or telling explicitly how I made millions is what will help others, I would do it...if I have the time and motivation to do so. But, I wouldn't want that motivation to be making money.

For me, it would be more about touching as many lives as I can, possibly can.

No you are not a scammer. I have bought your book and it's helpful...though I wonder to myself if it's actually worth my paying 20,000 naira for....or if for you, given that lots of Nigerians are actually looking for ways to empower themselves with whatever little capital they have, this is your avenue to make some free money.

But that's topic for another day.

Perhaps, Nairaland doesn't mean to you what it means to some of us, so yeah, I can('t) understand why you literally monetize everything.

Your response is childish, sorry to say. After telling you to do the right thing, you still felt there's a need to show more screenshots of your earnings and challenge MK82 to show his screenshots...Lol

Just like telling a man who in the past helped you to get good clothes to show the number and quality of clothes he has today.

Thank God you've decided to heed the voice of reason. Never let 'success' get into your head.

I can see you already have a thread here:

Build on it and you can get all the 'customers' or mentees you seek for.

I'm already sending some free traffic to your thread by this post. Thank me later!

I'm sorry you feel that way dear. I truly am

However, what I learned here got me started and on the road to $500 per month. I can assure you that it didn't get me to $10k per month. For that, I paid blood, sweat and equity to get there.

I took a risk with my own hard earned money to get a mentor

It's easy to look back now and say that was a good decision on my part but as at then I was scared..it was a significant amount of my savings. Be that as it may, I took a risk and it paid off.

This is why I have tremendous respect for and only like to mentor those who appreciate this are willing to make the same sacrifice I made or take some risk - those people are highly motivated. For them, I will do ALL in my power to help them achieve that level of success. Nothing good and worthwhile comes easy.

I have nothing against doing things for charity. Whenever I can, I'll give out free information. God knows how many times I've helped friends with a lot of valuable information on publishing and yet they don't appreciate it or act on it..because I guess it's free and they paid nothing to get it.

Since you have the blueprint, you essentially have access to me and ofcuz you can ask any question regarding stuff I covered in there (if anything wasn't clear). I'll do my best to help you out with them..you've earned it

How do I verify my tax TIN.

That template would be very much appreciated. I plan on using MsWord for my subsequent covers. Looks easier for beginners.

On the other hand, would amazon have to verify your account before sending your first payment? If so, is it that the address on the id card you supply must tally the one on your amazon account?

Amazon sends payment to your Payoneer account. You can then log in it and withdraw funds from there to your Nigerian account

How do I verify my tax TIN.

If you're working a salaried job the TIN should be somewhere on your payslip

You'll still pay the 30% withholding tax regardless (because Nigeria doesn't have a tax treaty with the US) so I'm not sure if this TIN is really needed

I once opened a payoneer account back in 2016 and my card was sent to me but I never got to use it and even discarded it. However, upon coming across the amazon KDP, I logged into my payoneer account and I was told it is blocked. I sent them a mail on if this can be fixed but since Thursday I havent heard from them. What do you suggest I do? Can I go ahead to open a fresh account and request for another card? Also note that in 2016 I opened another account with the same email I used as the first, using my elder brothers' name for the card and not my own name because I dont think I had a valid means of ID then. I am concerned about having to register afresh for a new card and getting blocked or even when I start having funds in the card through amazon KDP and having it blocked....kindly advice please.

I think it's best to first confirm from Payonner why the account was blocked and if it can be unblocked (with the card re-issued).

You can either wait for them to get back to your email or you can call them (using the below phone number).

If there's a number on your id card or drivers licence just put it there in order to move past that stage...it doesn't really matter.

You're paying withholding tax because they know you can't pay tax to the IRS (so they use the 30% withholding tax to make up for it)
