State the location of rust and take pics.

A lot more is expected of you based on inability to return defective vehicles.

And if more rust is later discovered in some places?

This is the issue I want us to examine here, I like the fact that the cars are cheap and while hoping to patronize him in the future I want people that have outstanding auto knowledge to strictly address the rust issues I raised. I know what I'm aiming at contrary to the people who think I'm attacking the OPs busines.

When we talk about rust in automobiles it goes beyond fender rust etc.

I'm merely protecting everyone's interest.

Vehicle are not located in nigeria. Vehicles cannot be inspected and rejected, by the time vehicle lands nigeria, monies would have exchanged hands.

It becomes very imperative that the seller discloses every bit of information including pics of the underbody and suspension parts of the car so potential buyers are in a better bargaining/informed position.

Regards.

Oh, you're really seeing through my reasoning.

I'm just a prospective buyer and not in any way related to the Op. So this is not me holding brief for him. My car request is somewhere on this thread.

Having stated the above paragraph, the Op has severally stated he doesn't own these cars and the pictures posted here are what he got from the seller.

If you go through the thread from the beginning, people have raised the issue about inspection and he said somewhere he carries out some level of physical inspection but for a more detailed information with involves a mechanic and a YouTube video for you, it'll cost you the prospective buyer.

Remember these cars might not even be in the same city with him because even though he seeks to provide we back here a better option with used cars when compared to Nigerian used cars, he also needs to make a profit while keeping the landing cost low.

A lot of requests have been made on here and a lot of cars posted, but we all know not many purchases have been made. Some are waiting for testimonies and arrival of the shipped cars before parting with their money.

So if you see any car you like, reach out to the op, pay the fee for a detailed inspection and then decide whether to proceed or not.

Or jejely go to Cars45 in Ikeja with your mechanic or Begger in Apapa and buy what you can physically inspect.

He/She (whoever the moniker is) never said you're related to the OP why the defense?

Dear op, we started this tread together... We have been here from page 1 to 23 and following squarely. I want you to disregard those who suddenly started attacking you from no where. Some of the accounts were just created today 9th June, 2019. Pls ignore and move on. Many of them are angry of your growing fan base and want to discredit you.

Those who say they want to protect consumers who didn't ask them to protect them should please go and hold their peace. Before someone can part with his 7 digits, he must have some level of assurance and checks, so don't bother protecting us.

Pls op, continue and disregard whatever,

Oga go and sit down.
The guy has always given full disclosure on every vehicle he advertised. If you want to know more, why not contact him directly?
Coming here to ask questions like you're interrogating him isn't helping anyone.
3 persons already sealed deals with him.

Consumer protect is busy acting like a child. He/she/it didn't even go through the thread, else he/she/it wouldn't be asking stupid questions.

Waka pass if you're not sure you want OP's business. Don't come and be raining on someone's parade.

This is nonsense, with due respect to the noble intentions I know think you're trying to pursue.

First, it's clear that the OP is getting the vehicles from a nmarketplace which he then posts for people to express interest.

It's thoughtless to expect that he has comprehensive pictures of vehicles at first instance. Where is that obtainable for vehicles to be imported, on this forum?

Second, It is after the expression of interest (with a monetary commitment, I presume) that he then goes to inspect and gives a full-on report after inspecting the car physically and even making videos of said inspection.

At that point, the buyer can still choose not to proceed, so it is unreasonable to say that buyers will be hoodwinked solely by what is said on this thread.

Third, the records of what he said on this thread and what he proffers in the report/video after physical inspection are binding on him and the buyer. If there's manifest difference between that and when the buyer receives it (since he's handling shipping and clearing fully), then he'll be liable.

So it's not like he'll just send whatever and then disappear without the buyer having recourse. I'd expect sensible buyers to also document their interactions and financial transactions.

Fourth and last, the level of disclosure he's giving is actually above what is par for the course across this section. Haven't you seen his inspection/loading videos?

You might want to chill and allow a few transactions be completed before accosting him as if anyone has accused him of anything.

Sir/Madam, no one has appointed you protector of anything, but if you want to play the role, do it objectively and fairly.

Are you minding him? He's just one of those pained dealers that flood here. Aren't they selling salvaged vehicles claiming not to be accidented? They felt he's taking meals off their tables, hence creating a moniker just yesterday and accusing baselessly.

I am not a god, just a man. I have not interest in running any one down, or challenging any one. Infact just for fun, I will pay for 1 of these vehicles and disclose how the process went.

Let me run thru the 26pages and see if there is any vehicle that catches my fancy.

Baba we all are gods according to the psalmist. You're a yardstick for integrity in the Autos and Cartalk sections so I wasn't insinuating you're gonna run him down but he need not get on your bad rating.

You're honest review on the 2007 Acura MDX or the 2004 Infiniti FX35. Last time I didn't heed your advice on a car, I ended up selling it as scrap. sad
