but Madrid wasn't at the top of the game when CR7 joined. They were rebuilding at the time when barca were at their best. Took them a few years to get it right and the ucl wins as reward for years of hardwork. That was a challenge coupled with the pressure of playing for Madrid. Some came but didn't excel as he did.
