People do not like change. If you ask a set of people groomed for 16yrs and accustomed to seeing corruption and lawlssness as the way to operate government then when you bring a message and agenda to introduce sanity and patriotism they will resist and fight you. But if you stay your ground you will win some and loose some. Gradually with time you will begin to win all and loose none.

Oshiomhole is winning some and loosing some at moment. Give him two more voting cycles and he will be winning all....and it will be because his people are seeing gains in party discipline.

That's politics and nothing more!

Both Ekweremadu and Ndume were planted to make it more election rather than fixing (unopposed) if not you should have asked yourself, why must it be today that Ekweremadu was nominated? Does he look like someone who really vying for a post?

Come to asokoro in Abuja and see how these politicians mingle with themselves but be playing enemies outside.

Now Buhari and Oshomole have accomplished their purpose, I hope they don't blame anyone for their incompetence

Ekweremadu is not a role model, agreed. But the choice of Omo-agege is an endorsement of hooliganism and impunity, honestly. So I do not intend to carry a flag for any of them.

Looking at party lines, it is clear that while all APC Senators did as their party instructed, the PDP Senators did whatever they liked. And 3 or 4 of them even voted for Omo-agege!

We do not need a soothsayer to tell us there will be a gale of defections from the PDP to APC in this 9th Senate.
