I just arrived from Osun state 2 days ago.
There is a place called Ga Fulani( Fulani Settlers' place) at Shadiat junction around Orelope estate where I stayed with my friends for 3 good days.I was amazed by the very cordial relationship between the Fulanis who spoke fluent Yoruba and their Yoruba hosts. The Fulanis were the first settlers there because it was basically a forest before.

Coming to the issue at hand,I think the Hausa Youths did a very good thing by not waiting for the Yoruba Youths which could have brought about great casualties from both sides,Reason why the Yoruba Youths razed Sabo,I think.
We should learn to live amicably among ourselves if Nigeria still exists.

I know you are ignorant of history. You're saying the igbos are never United but they collectively fought a civil war for three years, they fought the British for 30 years. The same British you begged to help you come and stop the fulanis from conquering yorubaland.

When the British landed in yorubaland, they confronted the fulanis and struck a deal with the fulanis. That was how the British and the fulanis agreed to conquer and rule nigeria.

That was how the problem of southern nigeria started. We are in this mess today because you yorubas didn't have the balls to fight the fulanis. You Brought the British from the shores of lagos deep into nigeria. Sanusi lamido was right. You are the problem of nigeria.

Why did he refuse to step foot in nigeria till he died?

What made awolowo kill himself?

This thread makes me sad and in fear for the future of our country.

Too much hate, Soo disheartning to read.

Personally, I believe a one Nigeria is possible. And for it to be attained we the citizens have to work hand in hand to achieve it. Not to condem each other like this sad, calling your fellow citizens slaves... Smh

Hmm

Its not going to be easy, but it is attainable.

For there to be one Nigeria it starts with you. It starts with us.
