When a Northern is in power, his evidence is felt in his community.
That is the reason I dislike OBJ & GEJ.
Once a northern is able to get one room in any community, he empowers his colleagues before you
know it they will claim a settlement and build a formidable empire in that environment.

Northern are smart, forget sentiment.
We keep insulting them but they continue to be on the receiving end of every benefit.

Good. Everybody wants to get a degree even though the jobs are not there after.

We need to revisit our school system and curriculum to fit our system and not adopting everything from the West.

Who enters a vocational training at the same time with these jambites will be a better person than them after the university course duration

Rubbish! angry

it won't work. We've heard many from the past, infact there was a time jamb dare to peg cutoff mark to 120 for university, even private universities rejected the shiit. If this is what oloyede wants to reduce our admission status to, then let him use the exit door.

Many universities are still suffering about the blunder he made on scrapping PUTME in 2016. Many reason why those U16 head just dull anyhow since they were not screen before admission! cry

This is what happens when Dullards are in charge.

Buhari and his goons will destroy this country sha. I don't understand how millions of people will elect these clowns to lead them.

This would bring huge relief to students, I could remember it was the reduction from 200 to 180 that made it possible for me to get admitted bc in 2013.

But this begs for concern, isn't our education system getting worse

cheesy

They just want to collapse the system. Why pull it down when the system has a particular set of numbers to accommodate??

I trust some federal universities. Even if they make the cutoff to be 250, they have their own.

Its a shame Nigeria as a nation is encouraging students to be less hardworking and thus becoming failures.
Average should always be the standard..... Anything less than 200 is failure...... Now its 160....... It keeps going down. One day if nothing is done to check this slide in grading, attendance would be the pass mark

It is really sad that when other country educational institutions are making great strides ours is drawing back. For heavens sakes the total score for Jamb is 400, and the average of 400 is 200 but over here its 180 now they want to reduce it to 160. Students don't read any more, no one is allowing school pass through them. It is really sad, I weep for this nation. To me the mark should be put at 200, so that people know that getting into a higher institution is for the serious minded people, not people who aren't ready to study and make research. A 5years old kid in America or Japan would out do a matured individual in Nigeria with his masters and PhD in engineering.

Our educational system is in shambles.

from 250 to 200 to 180 and now 160...this shows that Nigerian millennials and centennials are getting dull...and u expect Nigeria to develop with such brains.i pity nigeria future

even when jamb us allowing the use of calculators, they are supposed to increase cut off marks not decreasing.gone are the days where 260 wasntt enough to get into medicine or engineering and calculator wasn't allowed.JAMB was supposed to be our own version of GRE

no wonder Nigerians are now running away from writing GRE and other IQ exams
