Oshoala should be substituted. I don't understand why the standard of European/US teams is far ahead of African countries. I wish Falcons and other African teams the best of luck, at least we're not experiencing the embarrassment that Thailand passed through last night grin

They should use short passes and run with the ball like AFRICANS and stop that nonsense European Long passes Europeans are lazy to run so they swing long passes but our girls can run OSHOALA and that girl that won award for juggling ball.
I don't know why the coach refused to call Sophia Omidji but she is also very pacy and SHE FINISHES WELL she scores unlike the old ladies playing upfront.
We don't have a PROLIFIC goal scorer Sophia Omidji should have been that goal scorer OSHOALA is good at creating chances but not finishing them she almost always needs support which is ALWAYS LACKING that explains why we couldn't score a non penalty goal at the AWCON I'm surprised they didn't figure this out
Every Nigerian is a coach when we lose but a fan when we win... undecided

I don't know what the problem is
with African women soccer, they appear
so flatfooted & mediocre once tournaments
gets intercontinental & we meet oyibo teams.

Is it poor coaching, fitness or our girls
ikebe & booobs are too big & heavy to cope
with the agility of the flat chested/ bums of
the oyibo?

We are watching.

First d U20, now d falcons. Its d same ball watching syndrome. Zero awareness. Am not expecting anything different from d scoreline against Norway. The team I watched against Norway is wack.

Falcons will put three (3) past the South Koreans today.
I hope Michael has recovered from her injury and fit to play. If I was Mr Dennerby, I wouldn’t start Oparanozie. I’ll start Uchenna Kanu. Oparanozie is experienced, strong and powerful but hasn’t got Kanu’s agility and mobility. She can be awkward when she’s tired and frustrated when the likes of Ayinde constantly fail to give the right passes. Okobi isn’t the player she was 8 years or even 4 years ago. I’d try a new leg but retain Chikwelu and Ordega in the midfield.

This team can easily overcome their setback and spring surprises but they can also disappoint and depart early.
I hope they play well in a few hours and prove doubters wrong.

The right managers and team psychologists would turn both teams into champions. Flying Eagles didn’t perform that poorly. They could easily had won Ukraine and Senegal. Ironically, Ukraine’s toughest match and the only match they didn’t win was against Nigeria. Ukraine in my opinion will lift the trophy by weekend.
Falcons lost to Norway because they lacked the confidence and discipline needed. The 3-0 isn’t a true reflection of the match. They will redeem themselves against the Koreans.

Nigeria's Super Falcons: Success and struggle | Women's World Cup 2019

Africa’s most successful team, Nigeria's Super Falcons, have had to endure hardships in their quest for success. Unpaid bonuses and a lack of sponsorship are just two of the setbacks they've faced. Could an impressive showing at the Women's World Cup in France bring an end to their struggles?

When a team refuses to put into practice d basics in any football match, the situations will keep repeating itself. The 2 teams I still repeat, lacks d basics when it comes to off the ball movements. They only look good when they re with the ball. But leaves a lot of spaces once they re not with the ball. The defence is even worse. Flat footed, all eyes on d ball without watching free runners. I pray they don't repeat the same today. Korea will tear them apart with their technical abilities.
