Please I Need Your Opinions On Which Country To Migrate To With I N4m


I have decided to escape from this country in search of a saner climate for work or business.To be sincere i have raised 4million naira only in cash but don't want to invest it here due to unfavorable climate .so as a chemical/petrochemical engineer.Kindly list out 1st world countries i can relocate to and the steps to take to achieve it.

why Canada please can you be more practical in relative to your submission.

The 4m naira is just about 11k dollars. That is small change in Western countries. Why not invest the money here and over time it grows. You can then afford to travel to Canada, Dubai or anywhere else for leisure, rather than to be just menial worker or even a criminal with all the risks involved. Someone told me that on his first trip abroad, in London he saw a security guard in front of a shop and upon a closer look he discovered he was a lecturer he knew at a nigerian university, who left his job to seek so- called greener pastures abroad like OP is planning!

4 million naira can only be invested to see something tangible in Nigeria.

4 million is chicken change.

How much to process for visa? Flight about 400k, accommodation is about 200,000 naira every month, 2.4 million in a year. Light bills, phone bills, etc like 50,000 naira a month 600,000 a year.
Transportation/food about 100,000 naira a month. 1.2 million a year.

Use that money to escape Nigeria if you want, but take out "investment" out of your thinking. Till you settle in the new country, get a job and start saving.


You cannot travel abroad and invest 4 million except it is in Africa or other developing countries you are travelling.

All of you don't know that spending your last card to get out of this shithole is also a business. My advice to you is don't ever invest the money here. Get out if this shithole and stay happy. You can try Canada. And make sure everything is set for you before going there. Even if you'll be working in a factory. Just put your THICK A4Paper aside and continue with life. Then you can go to their school after getting your PR.

someone is even advising to venture into farming......people and their low thinking he is eager to leave.....he will use 4million to buy land, buy chicks,employ labourers, buy calf do so many things and those chicks,goat and calf won't bring him income he will have to wait for them to grow and to sell them is a problem also

I understand what you are trying to say but I have family via the United States and the UK but I would like to be self dependant. don't wanna worry nobody. thanks for your advice though.

Don’t invest in Nigeria..if 4m is the only funds you have it’s not advisable..The country isn’t favorable to small scale businesses or businesses generally.Immigrate to Canada legally and lets see how it goes..

N4million will only make sense in African countries, you can try Abidjan if you speak French. If you insist on going to Europe, try going as a student to Germany

look for one african country and start business there o. save 2m in nigetia and go with 2m

Op if you are single, that money is enough for proof of funds for Canada Express entry. Read through the Canada Express entry thread, you just need at least a year of experience in relevant occupation, language test(IELTS) and education to be qualified. Read through the thread and try to understand what I am telling you. You can do it yourself, you don’t need agent and the 4m still belongs to you, you just need to show the Canadian government you can take care of yourself before getting a job before they can issue you a permanent resident visa.


PS: To those sending me PM asking for my assistance on how to get to Canada, I am not a travel agent, I can't help you 'maneuver' your way in if you don't have the requirements as some have been suggesting, I got all the info on the thread, if you need any info, please read through the thread, it would help you.
