Don't be deceived. Those are people that have no skills or professional qualifications.

No professional will travel abroad legally and still be begging in the Street. If you hear stories like these, what should come to your mind is: this person might not be possessing any skill or qualification. People that normally stay dormant will always go through this kind of situation. But if you are the progressive type, you will surely not be seen begging in the street abroad.

The full grown man who many (relations) believe is abroad for a greener pasture, was seen on the street singing and begging passerby's for alms.

Although this is not a mockery post but a way of telling us how some Nigerians in Diaspora hustle and survive.

This looks like busking to me and not begging. It is some people's full time job and some pay taxes on their takings.
In some places you even require a license to busk.

What you're going to look for in Sokoto is in the pocket of your sokoto trouser.Just use your hands to rummage it and you will find it there.
Don't waste your precious time trying to travel overseas because someone else did,and probably making good returns back home,your destiny is not just the same.
He could even got deported tomorrow and he will come home empty handed.
The funniest part of it is that his people could be somewhere here bragging and and oppressing their neighbours in the name of having someone overseas.
