iukpe:
Our students are so illiterate today to their rights and societal values. This is because they are more focused on drugs, fraud, cultism and social rivalry (whatever that means) and they do not study or research enough to understand what politics, law and governance should be.
In the 80s and 90s some of the ills of our politicians and agencies would be strongly protested by students who usually take the forefront of public outcry for a better approach to issues by government. The amazing thing is that those years we had military regimes. Does it mean that our democracy is OK?
The Endsars movement has been agitated, protested and the concerns of the masses has been talked before the government for years yet nothing has been done. Nigerian Government negligence game is 100%. Imagine a country where the police IG and Lagos state commissioner disable comments on their social media platforms.
They are not even ready to listen to your concerns, how do we reason logic with madmen. In my country, the uniform gun wielding man will quote the law for you be it right or wrong you have to admit or be the next dead victim.
Nigeria is a failed nation we all know that, what's really sad is the fact that everyone now is even supporting this unruly acts.
I don't support drugs, fraud or robbery but please direct the authorities to do their jobs right.

No illegal stop and search
No illegal burglary
No illegal or forced arrests.

Our hatred for yahoo has made all this mad nairaland literate decide to side with EFcc regarded they are doing their jobs right or wrong. I pray one of you or some knee you know fall victim soon. Now we'll sit and re-assess if you will still support their illegal unprecedented acts.

Do these effcc operatives carry arms?

Do they go with police escorts?

What if at that ungodly hour of 2am/3am while they’re breaking in to peoples’ homes someone raises an alarm of “thief thief” or “ole” and people legit come out to counter them?

Except the area vigilante is not aware of what’s happening, what if they actually engage those efcc operatives upon hearing “thief thief” and believe me there are some vigilante guys you don’t want to meet in battle.

I understand they must quench their thirst for corrupt blood but why in the dead of night?

What will happen to the innocent ones? We all know how SARS will lock up both innocent and guilty and force them to write statements that they were arrested for something they didn’t do.

The hostels that are being raided, did the school sanction it?

Do they have duly issued and signed warrants?

Can those students afford lawyers? And will the state provide at least an average competent lawyer and not those charge and bail ones?

Can they produce case files with detailed investigation notes, evidence etc?

I think everyone should buy and wear spy cams/dash cams that uploads to some cloud drive in real time so that whenever you’re accosted, you have video evidence, that’s if you’re innocent and unduly detained and harassed and extorted.

All this applies to a sane country, naija is insane. A friend of mine was tagged an armed robber by SARS for using a John wick wallpaper on his phone. They said he is either into guns or an armed robber himself, we had to bail him with 30k. Since then, my hatred for this uniform mad dogs has known no bounds. The innocents arrested will be tagged with one crime or the other, let's face it. This is so heartbreaking

The op is a stupid slowpoke asking what will be the fate of those arrested.... The guilty once found with illegal evidence traced to them will be convicted while the innocent ones will be released
You talk as if you're not a Nigerian, why support Evil? You think the innocent ones would be released for free? They would extort hard earned money from them or their parents.

Innocent ones released.. nonsense talk.., why carry the innocent ones in the first place? Even the eggs and police abuse drugs more than any person on earth. Nigeria is a shithole and bleeped up country
Don't mind the idiot, talking as if he doesn't live in Nigeria. I hate people that reason from their anus

Smart comment. Dont mind the fools on here hailing them. A situation by which this bastards raid without due warrants and no one can sue them without being threatened and even chances of getting justice is highly slim. Considering the unproffessional attitudes of this bastards; so many innocent ppl will suffer. I have experienced such raids before back in university when this aninals raided our lodge in search of one cult member/ alledged armed robber. This bastards forces injured innocent people and broke windows and doors anyhow yet they failed to apprehwnd the culprit. I despise this country and its citizens i swear. We never got justice despite being tottally unaware of the situation

This country is indeed a zoo

Our judiciary is a sham

In all what i pray is for efcc, sars and ndlea to intensify this madness. Let them continue at full blown rate. Hopefully this could trigger something amongst our daft youths and meek masses maybe a revolution or retaliation of some sorts

All criminals need to be brought to book in the right way. Most especially the politicians

For every Nigerian politician that loots from the masses; he indirectly influences about more than 500 or a thousand plus youths into crime be it fraud, drug or even armed robbery considering the population

We are really sleeping in this useless cesspit
Bros check the comments and you will find out that revolution is far from this country. The youths are supporting the illegality of these useless force me.

You don't know what you're saying. They got into our building of 8 flats early morning. They started destroying the roofs and our ceilings into all flats. They arrested a lady who is down with malaria and accused her of getting a room next to the building of yahoo boys. They forcefully collected 15 thousand naira from her. EFCC na scam and they are frustrating innocent struggling students. Many of us do petty business in the school area to make ends meet and even pay our school fees. Nigeria is a zoo. God punish EFCC as they are terrorising us

what about your landlords? Obviously they shouldn't be smiling seeing that their properties were destroyed?

What was the reason they gave for invading your hostels? Have you reported to your S.U.G?
Re: NDLEA/EFCC Burst FUNAAB Environments, Several Students Arrested. by fapcrook(m): 8:19pm On Jun 14, 2019
The way EFCC is behaving will lead to complete breakdown of law. This country is tough to leave in. I hate illegitimate acts but packing innocent students with criminals is highly unfair. EFCC picks students randomly, and release them upon collecting money from them. Nigeria has got things wrong.

But is this legal.. I mean, we all know drugs and fraud are bad to society. But is it right to just raid the hostels in such a manner without proper evidence or warrant ? Are we really setting the right precedence here.. That's really my concern here
More sense to you.

They acting like jack bauer, not following due process. That's a crime on it's own.

This ain't democracy, this is demonstration of madness
