chiboyjohn:Benin is not small Edo state is bigger than 3 states in the south east. You are right, the people in Ondo state, part of Ekiti and the aborigines in Lagos migrated from Benin. |

The day we all come together will be the happiest day of my life. I remember when IPOB came to kwale, delta state, my tribesmen(urhobos) joined the parade in high spirits.....We all are dying for freedom.....If only we could just unite...if the ibibios, efik, anang, igbo (SE,delta, rivers),urhobo, isoko etc can come together, that would propel the rebirth of the promised land. |

The only thing i have to say is this. WHAT SO EVER WE DO IN THIS WORLD HISTORY WILL JUDGE US be it as an individual, family, tribe and nation. Nothing last forever. We must be rewarded according to our dealings wth nature by God or nature itself, either this life or live to come |

michaelkaroh:just gone through all of your posts and I am dumbfounded!!! so an urhobo can actually claim igbo ancestry!!! tell me more!!! |
| Re: An Open Letter To My Brethren In The "South-south" by Nobody: 11:04pm On Jun 15, 2019 |
MONIKERREVEALER:What would you like to know?........our ancestry(urhobos) under much scrutiny did reveal "itself" to be nothing more than historical speculation....how can a single tribe claim to be from edo, ile-ife, Egypt, Sudan and at same time be autochthonous to the Niger delta. It's crazy, honestly. Urhobos or rather sobos are part of the greater igbo nation just as the kwa iboes (akwa ibom) is part of the igbo nation. It has come to my notice that the more popular a location is historically, the more people try to claim descent from there, just like the ikweres who are igbos culturally and linguistically claim to be from edo, I bet if edo wasn't so popular in history, none of the aforementioned peoples would've had it in their stories. Sometimes it's painful to live in these times.I wish the civil war never happened, I wish the biafran troops didn't invade the Midwest, I wish our land was not divided on oil lines, I wish we didn't have to deny the igbos in order to live.....I wish the kingdom never fell.....maybe now, we all would still be brothers. |
