Carry your stupid anambra away
Ogun was a failed state 8 years ago
Ogun has leap frogged oyo state
Anambra GDP is 3 trillion naira
Ondo GDP is 2.93 trillion naira
Ogun GDP is 2.85 trillion
In d next five years ogun GDP will be more than your stupid anambra, let's bet it
Let Abeokuta airport,seaport
Ogun state energy city
Ogun state new industrial city
Ogun state new cities
Ogun GDP will b more than your stupid anambra
Show me three sky scrapers in Igbo land
Abeokuta has three sky scrapers
Abeokuta alone
How many sky scrapers is in entire igno land

Your pictures of Abeokuta are not bad. One of the clearest things to me from those pics is the good state of Abeokuta roads.

I also agree with you that Ogun State will likely overtake Anambra in GDP. It's not really about Amosun. Ogun is simply reaping from it's proximity to Lagos. More and more people who want to invest in the Lagos metropolis are doing that in Ogun state at the moment cos Lagos is basically full. Even a cousin of mine who is a successful businessman in Lagos built his house in Ogun State.

I also understand your need to defend your state, especially when you were first provoked. It's perfectly alright. Some other Nairalanders would have been very vile in their defence if they were at the receiving end, like you.

The point in bold is really unnecessary. The picture below is a building recently built in Umuchukwu Community in Anambra State. Apart from Lagos and Abuja, most other Nigerian states can't boast of any building like that.

In yorubaland, every body is from Lagos. They run away from their dusty villages an never return again for life. Tinubu and MC oluomo has denied their ancestors just to be near the development in Lagos grin

The tragedy in this is that their real villages are turning to grazing fields as more people run away. We should help the SW by formulating policies that will keep them in their villages.

the same way your ancestors, your generations ran to Lagos so claiming it and generations after yours will run down to Lagos to serve as slaves to masters.
soon I will snap pictures of your brothers selling in traffic and under bridge in Abeokuta for upload. tell them to quit before I do.

I don't want to quote you before you begin insulting me which I apparently have no time to reply. But if this is really all that the highly praised Abeokuta has to offer, which I assume in reality is, then I must confess that this is far less than impressive.

.Your streets don't look well planned except for the estates which seem all new but yet to be inhabited.
.The highly praised tall buildings/skyscrapers you boasted about are all but a few which all seem to be government owned.
.What are commercial motorcyclists still doing on the streets of a state capital? Those things do more harm than good.

I don't want to make comparisons but seeing that you ridiculed South Eastern states a lot, I stand to correct you that with the above pictures you posted, your "Beautiful Streets Of Abeokuta" in all it's might whether real or assumed is far below standards in comparison to the states you ignorantly ridiculed.

Op is sick... the moderator is more sick or sicker.
Op.... you created a topic showing just one part of Abeokuta. You shot Opic towers and it's surroundings. What happens to the other part of the state capital with beautiful edifices
Moderator..... What is beautiful about what you brought to the front page I fault your judgement.

Ogun can never overtake Anambra State, Anambra is one of the fastest developing in Nigeria, if only you know where Anambra was then, this is a state that started from zero level from 1970, and where it's today

Keep quiet. let's hear word. Abeokuta is one of the Towns that got earliest contact with the whiteman. Today, this is what you are showcasing to the World. You should be ashamed of your self.
For your info, one of the highest skyscraper in the whole of southeast is located in of one of the most rural area in Anambra state.
In Igbo land , we don't concentrate development in one place ;it is scattered. we don't have Lagos where all of us will fall in to contraption for chest beating.

Google umuchukwu community in Anambra state. anu ofia!

I always knew Anambra peeps on NL shall fall to this trap.. I clearly saw the trap the Poster did set. .. However, I knew that wasn't all.

Please, my Ogun state brothers don't bring in IMO State to this matter... If you listen you'd notice that only Anambra is mentioned... Pls, don't drag in the more educated and refined Imo state and indeed the Igbos. ..But deal with the mental challenges of these never do well who thinks... Naira billion is Dollar billion... .who sees other people as lesser beings... We Igbos don't have problems.. but, Anambra has always been our problem.

To be honest, I really don't know. I only said that cos Ogun State has almost closed up the gap between it and Anambra, and it's benefitting from it's closeness to Lagos. If things continue the way they are presently going in Nigeria, Ogun may overtake Anambra, but if a few more of indigenous Anambra investors scattered all over the world decide to pour their wealth into Anambra, there will be no limit to how far the state will go.

A birth of Biafra will bring about an amazing development in Igbo land. That's why I laugh when those people call Igbo land village. They don't know the wealth of investments already on ground and more waiting to be deposited in Igbo land when the time and conditions are right.
