A man has reported a live incident at Akowonjo area of Lagos where officers of the Lagos State Fire Service brought two Fire trucks without water in their tanks to the scene of a burning house.

According to the narrator in the video, the 1st truck arrived without water in the tank, before signal was sent to the office to deploy another truck, which also came down to the site without water in the tank.

He wrote:

Live from Akowonjo, Lagos state.

“Fire services are here without water.. Two fire service tankers without water.. ... Properties worth millions of Naira burnt already and still nothing is done so far” - Jejeupdatetv

In a sane country, the head of the fire agency in that area would be queried and anyone responsible for the incompetence could be fired. But in Nigeria, anything goes. Investigate the cause of this incident and you would be shocked by the result.

ones the fire truck is back from work replacement and treatment is done before the fire fighters submit their report, and in the report it must be stated that the fire fighting machine is in good shape.
