How many weeks is she? Headache is part of the package sir, especially first trimester. I had serious headache in my first trimester dt I put my head under a running tap. I didn't use any medications.
She should drink lots of water and rest well and not forgetting her prenatals.

It will end in praise for sure. Done with my shopping but av like 4 items to still get. Baby diapers, bouncer and sitz bath bowl and baby christening cloth. Guess I will av to send my mum again. Thanks for checking up on us mama,, Sorry about the heart burn, I used gestid tablet for mine when it kept coming nd going, at a point I just kept pushing since na part of the package.. My last shopping was done 2fridays ago, purposely went cus of baby christening cloth also, the rest of the things needed will be done by mother in law ( I got home from idumota that day and could not feel myself).. Hahahahah am sorry I had to laugh so hard @ the way people were clearing road for you... You ain't alone mama, surely by the time we meet with out LO's we will be overwhelmed we went through this phase..
As it is, you need a whole lot of rest and walking exercise to do... At times I notice my LO will stay at my vjay as if he wanna poop out, I go just stand still till am relieve.. We shall all come back with bundles of testimonies.... Enjoy nd takia mama

Please I have been having this persistent headache since last night although mild, it’s still uncomfortable. Is this normal during second trimester or could it be a sign of malaria? Can I take paracetamol? I’m hardly ever sick or take drugs so it’s hard for me to tell these things.

Sorry about the headache, I felt something similar last week, I got m nd b paracetamol, the malaria feeling and headache left ASAP...you can try and visit ur doc also..

Please, your wife should stop sudrex but can take paracetamol. Let her always drink water to keep hydrated .

So far, so good o, I dey thank God o for giving me swift and easy delivery this morning. I gave birth at home within the twinkle of an eye. Bless the Lord with me. halleluyah, it's a boy!

Paracetamol is fine during pregnancy but not too much but you can still contact your doctor in the interim to tell him your symptoms

Headache in pregnancy is part of the package for some in the first trimester..

She should please stop taking sudrex and take paracetamol instead..

Lots of water and rest too will help..

You might want to take her back to the hospital so that malaria in pregnancy can be ruled out.. it’s a cause of persistent headache sometimes too..

Please my wife is 9 weeks into journey of motherhood. she has been complaining of serious pains in her left lower abdomen. scan showed everything is alright. we saw a doctor 2 days ago who recommended a urine test that came out that her urine contain pus cell ++. the doc diagonised her of UTI and advised that its too early for antibiotics and she should increase water intake to keep her system hydated.

she still feels this pain and she hardly sleep well in the night for like 2days now. please i need your advise on what to do please

Get her cranberry and treat yourself because you are also infected and could keep reinfecting her. Though it is ideal if you both get treated at the same time. Try not to cheat especially when she’s pregnant because UTI can be transferred from sexual partners. Though it can also develop on its own. The link below should help you with natural treatment:

Mama pls oo, if possible send someone close to u with trust to get ur baby things.. As little as it was for me, with this small bump. Wetin my eye see for Lagos island 2weeks bk, my mouth no fit talk am.. U can get d vital things and leave d rest till after u born since d time is fast approaching already.. Happy waddling mama

Good morning mamas, I need to vent. My hubby made chicken stew which would have been nice if he didn't use garlic. I tried eating it but threw up everything at night. This morning he was warming the stew, i told him to close the kitchen door because the smell of the garlic in the stew triggers me to throw up. This man said "na wa o, u are taking this thing too far o". It's not his fault. I am here asking him if that's how I was selecting foods and throwing up when he came to marry me? I really wish God made pregnancy for both sexes, so men can feel a little of what we go through. It is annoying that he thinks I am overreacting to everything.

Especially if it's your first pregnancy or if you had a previous pregnancy that was easy and stress free. They wouldn't understand the sudden change and aversion to things.

You might need to explain to him how you feel or get someone else to explain nuasea in pregnancy to him. You can also get him materials to read on each stage of pregnancy so he knows what to expect at each.

The way I perceive things these days ehn, may God help me! Thats how I nearly begged one lady for groundnut on the street o. Thank God I respected myself and walked away. Phew! Pregnancy and its many many surprises.

My sister had this same issue and I wanted to faint because she was dehydrated and admitted for days in the hospital before she was discharged and oyinbo doctors take every precaution they contributed to me fear, it’s called it one name like this. funny enough I don’t even know what morning sickness be like I’ve never experienced it before in my pregnancies but tiredness and headache are like 5&6 for me in first trimester

lol. sometimes they don't really understand. after telling my husband severally to stop using perfumes, i jejely packed all the perfume bottles, powder and hid them. i even had to change our bathing soap. one day, he looked at me and said "pregnancy is not a disease o".
