The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has promised that members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who distinguished themselves during the 2019 general election will get automatic employment.

INEC says those who will participate in the Bayelsa and Kogi governorship elections scheduled for November will get the same reward.

INEC’s Prof. Mahmood Yakubu, spoke Monday in Abuja during the presentation of laptops and phones used by the European Election Observation Mission to 75 corps members who were selected by a panel of NYSC and EU delegation.

You said it all, the corpers will consider either getting employed or testifying against the Government. Major thing we must know, God isn’t sleeping at all.

And that most of this our corp members are dumb.

An agency of the government is announcing that she would employ, some Nigerians are already attributing it to rigging elections.

The stress I went through during presidential and gubernatorial elections is something I don't even want to imagine again. There was a point when I was almost mobbed and beaten, there was another point where the policeman was threatening to implicate me because party agents did not settle them.
At the end of the whole thing, how are they going to determine who did well and who did not. The country is just a scam jare.

Ok. The criteria to be used in choosing the outstanding corps members for the automatic employment is still not understandable. I do hope the automatic employment would not get into the wrong hands because this is Nigeria.
Anyway, good decision from the INEC chairman.
