This is a clear case of pension fraud and your employers may be serial offenders here.

Nothing stops them from registering a new company and doing this to new employees.

Also, where were the deducted funds warehoused after being removed from your salaries? Were they used to run the company as against being remitted to the PFA? That's misappropriation

It’s simple. Write to PENCOM, attaching proof your your indebtedness and particulars of your former employer. It’s very easy to trace them and even if your employers incorporate a new company, he would be traced (moreso when he’s a director/shareholder in the new company).

Petition Pencom and your pfa against your employer.


You are technically not in position to conclude that the company can't pay. That a company is out of contract does not mean the company is liquidated.

Harm you petition with the following information:

1. Your RSA details- name, pfa, and your pin
2. Requt and attach your current RSA statement
3. Name of your employer
4. The owners of the company
5. The Accountant in charge
6. The periods they have failed to remit

Actions

1. Package your request well
2. Get the email address of your pfa and pencom

3. Send soft copy via mail
4. Personal deliver hard copy to your pfa and pencom
5. Make sure u collect your acknowledged copy
6. Follow up with them via mail and phone.

7. If you are not getting desired response, drag all of them (employer, the pfa and pencom) on social media.

I am sure your employer and your pfa can't with stand the negative publicity this will brng on them in the market.

Funny enough, the owners of the company secured another contract with another client firm in a different region of the country and registered a new company to undertake the operations of the new contract. Isn't that corporate yahoo yahoo?

I have my PFA's app. I check my account regularly. There's nothing like delayed remittance here. They just refused to pay and now, they have folded up
