same on previous fifa but not on fifa 19...it requires skills and tactics to mark.. Even d normal x for tackle sef, defenders won't go near opponents.. U have to direct dem closer to opponents before hitting X button

What you do is when a winger is trying to get into your box 18 . Remove the cursor from your fullback( while jockeying) and switch to an appropriate team member who won't leave you open and cover the spaces . Automatic defending will kick in for the fullback .

This doesn't always work but it helps . Make sure you switch on your second player cursor so you know which two players are under your control .

This off course is for legendary defence . For tactical defence it's a bit harder but you have more control .

Defending is kind of extremely hard in 19 . Because you can't track the path of the ball only the player making the run .
