Problemkid1:You said 20 initially. Lying is in your DNA. We tell you the people who starve in Kenya are very few in remote deserts not like Nigeria where the entire north with 100 million souls is starving. There was a guy here from Turkana and he told you guys he lives in Turkana and has never seen the people who starve. Well, you can never live longer than Kenyans even in a billion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion years The universe will end before Nigerians live longer than Kenyans ![]() |

obaaderemi:Also to add onto the Indian problem, they are never going to be called a developed country until the day they do away with their retrogressive caste system. In fact, all African countries have a higher chance of becoming developed before India due to that one problem. I prop much of what you said but definitely there must be something to attack you for in future ![]() |

NIGERIA professor arrested charged with breach of peace and incitement. . Nigerian Professor, Austin Nwagbara has been arrested according to MyNewsGh.com sources at the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service. He has been charged with incitement to breach of peace following the contents of a leaked tape in which he was captured making damming remarks about Ghana’s educational sector and alleged harsh treatment meted out to Nigerian resident in Ghana. According to our sources, he reported himself in the company of Nigerian High Commission in Ghana, Ambassador Micheal Olufemi Abikoye to the Police and was subjected to hours of interrogation. Professor Austin Nwagbara will be released on bail and is expected to be reporting to the police periodically until a final determination of the case as investigators are currently preparing a docket on the matter. MyNewsGh.com spotted a remorseful English Professor and former Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University Of Lagos (UNILAG) at the CID headquarters a while ago as his statement was being taken. It would be recalled that a video went viral in which he was heard urging his colleagues to employ the media from Nigeria to tear Ghana up. He is quoted as having said, “The Nigerian community here is bad image for Nigerian we can take it back through the press, we can reverse. We have powerful media stations, channels broadcast all over world. Emm, well AIT has a problem now, NTA does many others, and there is online, active online social media they plot in Nigeria. Let them come look at what we have said here today. Let them come here and run documentaries of the experiences on Nigerians and blast it all over the world. In three days Ghana will respond [clapping at the background]. I have been a media person, I have been a media person. You cannot be here and suffering. Let the leaders get our media guys come here and cover what has been happening. Go to the student community go to the business community go to everywhere, come to the embassy. Go and confront the officials with the information and within one week, I can tell you part of what is happening. I’m sorry to say it but this is within us. The present government in Ghana came on the grounds of Nigerian bashing. I have listened to things some of their top leaders have said all over the world in big major places. We did not take it back sir. If we take back they will sit up. So media strategy. One; Use their own media but you know everything I have been a press man there is no absolute truth in the media. The truth is even history is truth as presented. Let us use our own media and get back to them. Let us see live cases, let our media with this stories we want to go to their prisons to see Nigerians of course they will turn you back, we broadcast it you do by the time you are through run series of documentaries on Nigerian relations of Nigerians” Source: mynewsgh.com. Interesting........ let's how it will end. |

obaaderemi:the population of India was lesser than china in d late 70s or early 80s when China introduced the one-child policy, The population of India was still lesser than that of China in 1991 when India liberalised its economy.. why was India still poorer than china in d 90s? If India had had d economic policy of China in d 70s or had liberalised its economy 20-30years earlier, india might have been d china of today. Those smaller countries are poor because they failed to educate their populace properly, failed to tackle corruption, and lacked seriousness in terms of bringing development to their people. Almost all of sub Sahara Africa falls into this category. We just throw money at problems without proper policiesmany smaller countries have better literacy rate than many larger ones but still poorer than it, why? Zimbabwe should be a prime example in africa. This is debatable. I know a rich brilliant lawyer in Ibadan who has six children.sure, that's how it is but for every rich brilliant lawyer in Ibadan with six children, there are 100 poor illiterates with 6 children in zamfara. ![]() I go with rvp on this one.(I am sure I will attack him on something else)there's no harm in going with anyone here, it's good to have diverse opinions from different perspectives. Doing better in terms of what? Cos if we compared china with vietnam, i have a strong felling china will come out better. But Sweden and Spain have almost same demography. |

Kenya has no resources yet her fiscal budget is 3,020,000,000,000 (three trillion) Kenya shillings, equivalent to 68,403,000,000,000 (sixty eight trillion) Tanzania shillings, or 10,721,000,000,000 (ten trillion) Nigerian naira. CID invite Nigeria professor. General NewsTue, 18 Jun 2019 CID invites Nigerian Prof over 'inciting' comments (Prof. Austin Nwagbara ) The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has invited for questioning a Professor with the University of Education, Winneba who is calling on his countrymen to act against Ghanaians badmouthing of Nigerians. Prof. Austin Nwagbara in a viral video said Nigerians should react in the wake of reports of crimes and kidnapping against them by withdrawing their manpower and financial investment to Ghana. In the video, he said there is a bad image for Africa’s most populous country which they have to reverse through the press by using powerful media organisations available to them. “There is active online and social media presence…let them come and take documentaries of experiences of Nigerians [in Ghana] and blast it all over the world. In three days Ghana will respond [this was greeted with claps and shouts of endorsements]…you cannot be here and suffering… “…go to the students and business communities…come to the Embassy and confront the officials with information and air it and within one week I can tell you what is going to happen…the present Ghana government came on the back of Nigerian bashing…” he said. According to the former visiting Professor to the University of Ghana (UG), Ghanaians have sold Nigerians as criminals and “we have bought it and that is why we are owning up to it.” “We are bad just like any other community and we are good just like any other community so we cannot take ownership of bad and say it is ours. We are just like them…” Sources tell Joy News the academic who reported himself in the company of Nigerian High Commissioner to Ghana, Ambassador Micheal Olufemi Abikoye, was subjected to hours of interrogation. He has been charged with incitement to breach of peace and was released on bail and is expected to be reporting to the police periodically until a final determination of the case as investigators are currently preparing a docket on the matter. Beyond the many provocative statements, the one-time visiting Professor to the University of Ghana (UG) from 2011/12, also launched into a tirade against universities in the country in general and UG in particular. According to him, the Nigerian community takes care of 65% of UG’s budget as they pay a minimum of $10,000 per student. “All the private universities everywhere [in Ghana]…we have this advantage that we supply to them, what are we getting in return, insults?” he said. Prof. Nwagbara said he won’t pay 10% of the amount for his son or daughter to get a degree in a Ghanaian university. But in a sharp rebuttal, UG said the claims relating to the University’s sources of income, students fees and the likes, are incorrect. According to the Director of Public Affairs, Stella Amoah, his claims “do not in any way represent the true facts and figures of the University’s income and state of affairs.” The University of Ghana has dissociated itself from what it describes as “mischievous” claims intended to mislead the public and harm University’s reputation. It said the public should treat the claims with the contempt it deserves. Source .myjoyonline |

vaxx:I was expecting this from a self-respecting nation. In fact if you had not done this I would have given up on Ghana. Yesterday I was on the verge of saying no wonder Nigerians disrespect Ghanaians so much. The Dr. should have his backside deported to Nigeria ASAP. Let him whine about Ghana in Nigeria. |
