I agree with you on the proper term for the bus but not necessarily the logic you stated. Even a Mercedes/BMW is still a luxury vehicle if it ages/ is beaten up.

My love for big buses goes back years ago as a young kid growing up in the ancient city of kano when sanity was still at a better level,it was in Sabon gari area,I could remember its either new road or nnewi road company bus was new Tarzan at the back they write go well,does it still exist?I can't tell,well those journeys then was fun cos traveling through from kano to Onitsha before connecting to my homeland at isoko,you appreciate the sight of nature and know that we are really blessed in this great nation,I use to give my mates in primary school the gist they will be admiring me cos most are from the north which is there home,they never had such an experience before,life was really cool in those days.
Akukwe motors still exist?good transport company with good drivers then,there main office as at then was at iddo terminal, many version of buses came up then like the buscar and few others.

Tell the upcoming generation....
I will still love to hold on to my luxurious buses.

Small buses start to roll out, not even hummer buses at first. Them go come say them no dey carry load, na only one small box. Ndi ala.

Anyway, I think you get the main "luxury" in those ones that go cross-country.

I find it appalling that my friends tried to correct me when I say 'go-slow'(traffic jam) or off-head...those expressions are Nigerian brand of English
