Super Eagles have a poor striking force. They have fired blank in their last two games. It would be a miracle if they achieve more than a goal margin against Burundi.

The Burundians have a great striking force. In their last 6 matches, they have scored in every game, including against a rejuvenated Tunisian squad this month, and they have only lost once in 10 matches, including against a more fancied Malian squad. With our crops of goalkeepers, Burundi would get a goal. However, the experience of the Super Eagles would be too much for them just as the experience of the Tunisians was too much to cope with.

The Burundian squad is very compact and physical. As debutants, they will be under less pressure, and are very likely to pose the toughest opposition to the Super Eagles in our supposedly easy group.
