igbinedion lucky really messed that state up.....he is so unpopular now.

Sometimes I jst feel lyk weeping for south south...South south is the largest in terms of government revenue in Nigeria..Despite the little population,high level of literacy...South south is supposed to be the most developed region In d country but their governors are d worst and the people will always blame FG for their misfortune and support their governors...I pray they understand what they have lost and currently losing very soon..

Let me be a bit simplistic: That Edo is not where she ought to be (though better off without PDP), is not a worthy excuse that Delta state (with all the human and capital resources at her disposal) should be this underdeveloped, even behind states with less allocations like Anambra, Ebonyi, Kano, Ogun, etc.

I could have substituted any of the above states for Edo as a point of reference, not point of comparison (semantically distinct).

Since you have chosen to major on a minor/tiny issue of references or "comparisons", instead of the major issue of poor governance bedevilling your "Big Heart", I wish you and your fellow Deltans all the best.

but why mention Edo state in the first place if it shouldn't be our point of reference. Arguing about development in Delta state is a whole different ball game entirely than using an airport which is own by shoreline, a private company to blame the government for it's under development. You and Mr jollof are ignorant of the fact and reality on ground.

Show me one place in Edo apart from Benin that is livable? You forgot to add that Delta State was under Bendel state with Benin as capital and resources may have been used to develop Benin.
Ibori took Delta State and brought it up while oshomole looted the whole of Edo focusing on only the capital
