Yes the penalty was not a penalty, but then, you conceded goal in less than 30mins into the first half, you couldn't defend and take the attack to your opponent's side so they can feel the heat and stay off your side, yet you were too sluggish to mark them until they entered your 18yards box....

Nigerian ladies are slow just like the super eagles team....they can't even mark the Germans....watch how German players cluster around any of our players that dare touch the ball like its a taboo....but when Germans get the ball, our ladies give them so much space to decide accurately how and who to pass to.

Until Nigerian football teams learn to train on how to play fast paced attacking football, we will never go far in football!

All the nations that are doing well in football today play attacking football not Nigeria's sluggish, dull football style of 1994 that is outdated.

Watch how energetic and fast paced the Cameroonians are in attack and defensehuh Those are serious footballers not Super Falcons crawling like snails cry
Plain truth and nothing more.

They goals they conceded were really unfortunate and that penalty was no penalty. They actually tried in the ending stages of the first and Oshaola has been bang below average barring the goal she scored. Take that to the bank.
I could understand the penalty, because some referees would give it some won't, what I don't understand was the offside goal. The offside player was clearly interfering with play by blocking the view of the keeper, unless FIFA is telling us that players can stand and block a goal keeper while offside, to prevent the keeper from seeing a shot.

We're saying the same thing.

But I don't think the VAR will make the final call for a referee.

The VAR is kûkú handled by humans.
VAR officials are 5, they vote and their decision is relayed to the referee who carries it out in the field of play. So the referee have no final decision in VAR

Simple!

Conceding is not the problem. It happens to everyone. How about scoring? What's the plan to score? I don't know. Is it all about hoofing the ball and hoping it falls kindly for us or as an OG.

VAR is the biggest scam in football. We’ve not played well though but the VAR decisions were just awful. Oshoala should be brought in to add bite to the attack since Oparanozie is as good as useless up front. After the tournament, that foreign coach should be sacked. His tactics are terrible.

I don't put all the blame on the coach... sometimes our girls press the self destruct button, or just fail to make a simple delivery or that telling pass when it mattered most. I still feel we can get some better players from the street

The reason why our players have been struggling to string passes together has been due to the high pressing of the German players.
