what are you saying... Who is a soldier... Anyone that is the military and capable of combat and fighting is a soldier. Soldier na rank?... Do you need to research to know who a soldier is..that uniform you see is a combat fatiguee( camouflage) and is been worn by the Air Force, navy or army . Captains, lieutenant etc have their equals in the different branches of the Military. The coporals and warrant officers are called Non commsioned officers.... You are just confusing yourself.

The word "soldier" is contextual; it passes as a term for other-ratings in the ground force ("Army" in some contexts). Equivalent to sailor and airman in the Air force and Navy.

The word "army" is equally as contextual; it's an arm of service in some parlance and in some it' refers to the whole military.
