There's no doubt that most investment opportunities on this forum are rubbish. The moderators should do something about this, people just come to this forum and post all sorts of rubbish as investment opportunities, and some gullible people will even put their money into these rubbish investment opportunities. It is better not to present an investment opportunity than presenting rubbish and because of this, people miss out on the few genuine investment opportunities.

If only 15% of the investment opportunities i see on nairaland are real, then nairalanders should be making good money from investments.

100% correct bro.. A lot of investment schemes on NL are most likely scams in disguise, most of which will pay a little time.

There is currently one of such called Bitcoin mining Bot which operates in Telegram.. Pls anyone with experience with them can kindly share here. Thanks!

@greenmonk , lol I think you're still leaving in the cave. We're talking about Bitcoin, not your worthless Nigerian investments. Even Warren Buffett you referencing to is not God as he himself has admitted his failure to invest in top tech companies like Google and Amazon earlier which he once dismissed.

You know what? He's now FOMOing to buy Amazon shares, which is now very expensive, compared to when it was cheap, see link http://fortune.com/2019/05/03/warren-buffett-amazon/

The same Buffet dismissed Bitcoin when it was below $600.. Now Bitcoin is above $10,000 and once hit $20,000.. If Buffet had paid attention tech, he would have been by far the richest man in the world.

The truth is, new and disruptive techs are known for their outrageous returns, this is a fact. If you decide to take them for granted, you're only doing yourself. And you talk about 3.5% for 100 days, really? In crypto, this is nonsense. Market Makers make 1000% . Even people who just buy without trading make far more especially in a bull market, the market we are currently in now.

1. If you invested $1,000 in 2011, you'd be a millionaire. (Which other traditional investment can do this? None!)

2. NXT — 1,265,555% ROI.. was created in 2013. Which traditional investment can do this?

3. IOTA — 424,084% ROI.. Created end of 2015.. Which traditional investment can do this?

Others are Ethereum, Binance, etc. All these look outrageous but it's possible because the technology is new and disruptive. You'll notice that all these gains were made by merely holding these coins.

Now imagine what market makers, who control the crypto market, make. Imagine what miners make. Lol.. 3.5% is nothing compared to what these market makers make daily.

It's true that scammers are taking advantage of the system, but that doesn't mean the gains are unrealistic. If anything, it's tiny compared to the outrageous gains the crypto industry is known for producing.
