First, the world’s single most indebted nation should not be lecturing anyone else on debt...

Nonetheless, taking Chinese loans to build rail lines, airports, power plants, seaports and such infrastructure should have the sort a multiplier effect that boosts productivity, increases our GDP, creates jobs and generates wealth and revenue to put us in a better position to repay same.
