i wanted to watch that jessica jones after i watched daredevil and was really impressed by it but then i changed my mind and watched the defenders instead and it discouraged the fvck outta me...thank God i did not watch it...

The only 2 marvel series i can confidently recommend for anybody now is daredevil and the punisher...i dont know about agents of shield but those two were really good especially daredevil s3 and punisher s2

Still not a good enough excuse if you ask me...many great movies have been made that are just 2hrs or roughly above or below the 2hr mark and all the story the director wanted to tell were still able to fit in with great pacing and acting

then explain why TDK or TDKR couldn't use a 1 hour or 2 hour strict time mark? S0me films and directors have ambiti0ns and m0tivati0ns to tell stories that are far above the usual 3 angle plot and theme. Ask N0lan why interstellar was alm0st 3 hours when it was just a space film or why incepti0n ran as l0ng as it did. Or heck, Avatar and titanic that was just a r0mance film.

Warner Bros. announced BBC Studios Americas president Ann Sarnoff as its new chair and CEO on Monday, the first woman to ever lead the studio. She will replace former CEO Kevin Tsujihara, who resigned in March following a report that alleged he had a sexual relationship with an actress and promised to help her get roles.

"Justice League" fans immediately pleaded for Sarnoff to release the infamous "Snyder Cut," which refers to Zack Snyder's director's cut of "Justice League" (that may or may not exist). Many of the responses to Warner Bros.' tweet announcing Sarnoff as the new CEO regarded the Snyder Cut, with the hashtag, "#ReleasetheSnyderCut."

TDK and TDKR were not up to 3hrs like BVS...even interstellar didnt hit the 3hr mark but they still did their jobs of telling a great story in the shortest amount of time possible,let us call it as it is bro yea BVS was successfull commercially but it was successful BELOW EXPECTATION cos of how bland and rushed the story felt despite the viewer having the feeling of sitting through a slow slugfest(that feeling is almost like torture believe me) ...my question is why cant snyder do that (tell a good and compelling story with great pacing and less time like other good directors)why is he always complaining about his directors cut every goddamn time?

You dont seem to get the point. Avatar, titanic, TDK, TDKR and co, their plot and story was understood and people could relate to it.

Synder on the other hand, even if you give him 10 hours to tell a story, most people will still not understand what he is trying to tell.

I give him credit for great visuals, but he sacrifices a good story at the expense of great visuals only.

Thats why most of his films are always having the same complaint of bad storyline, people not being able to relate with the characters/protagonists etc
