The South West Security Summit, midwifed by the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN), has commenced. The summit is currently ongoing at the Theophilus Ogulesi Hall, Opposite UCH, Queen Elizabeth Road, Ibadan. The Governors of the six states in the South West, led by the Chairman of the South West Governors Forum and Ondo State governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, are already in the hall. This summit is organised following the ugly trend of insecurity in the South West region of the country. The host Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State gave the opening remark while Arakunrin Akeredolu will declared the summit open. #SWSecuritysummit
