Ghana president arrives in Egypt to cheer up black star. The President for the Republic of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo is currently in Egypt to watch Ghana's first AFCON game against Benin later today. Nana Akufo-Addo made a promise when he hosted the players and officials of the team at the Presidency before their departure to Dubai for the pre-tournament camping. He said should Ghana qualify to the final, he would again be in Egypt to motivate the Black Stars to win the AFCON trophy which has eluded the nation for the past 37 years. The President in the early hours of Tuesday held bilateral discussions with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, aimed at strengthening the ties of co-operation that exists between the two countries. Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to be in Ismailia to watch the Black Stars take on the Squirrels of Benin at the Ismailia Sports Stadium later today. Kick off is at 8pm Source: GHANAsoccernet.com

theenchanter:i am not sure of that . It will be interesting anyway. Benin is always difficult to win. They do put on extra effort when meeting stronger side. |

Okay so lets go with 3M metric tonnes of smuggled rice from Benin & Cameroon. The last part talked about 400K tonnes of rice export from Brazil to Cuba, Benin and Senegal as leading destination. We have not looked at other markets like Vietnam. Now the next question - how much rice does Nigeria import official? According to International Grain Agency (IGN) - The IGC puts Nigeria’s rice crop in 2018 unchanged at 3.8 million tonnes, with rice imports also at 3 million tonnes, up from 2.4 million the previous year. In any case let us assume zero - 3m smuggled - 4m locally produced and milled. https://www.world-grain.com/articles/11643-focus-on-nigeria If I am not wrong Yemi Kale will claim you now produce 7M tonnes of rice instead of 3.8M tonnes right? Note: Egypt mill about that much rice in one Quarter - FAS Cairo forecasts Egypt's marketing year (MY) 2018/19 (October-September) milled rice production to drop to 3.3 million metric tons (MMT), But you dodgy gov just can't help but lie. By the end of 2017, the Federal Ministry of Agriculture director claimed that the country had indeed reached self-sufficiency in the commodity. According to a report from the ministry, the country’s production capacity had reached 15 million metric tons. T[s]his would translate to major savings as the country would no longer need to import the commodity.[/s] A country that smuggle about half it's rice is now going to export rice. ![]() obaaderemi: |

So diggest that - real production of 3-4m - Nigeria federal Ministry of Agri reports 15m. I mean even if we assume they are talking of paddy rice - still that milled would be anything closer to 10M - and higher than Egypt. That is how to inflate your GDP by a huge factor. Rice Production In Nigeria Hits 15 Million Tonnes https://lefvipactau.ml/rice-production-in-nigeria-hits-15-million-tonnes Rice production in Nigeria hits 15 million tonnes — Official. ... the Federal Ministry of Agricultural, Muhammad Adamu, calimed that local rice production in Nigeria has now reached 15 ... theenchanter:You are talking of the olden days. These days you cant repeat the feats you used to. Frankly speaking, your national team has a very very low soccer IQ. Just about a quarter of Ghana's. Take that from a FIFA authority on football IQ. Your ladies were bundled out the WC and you didnt even post here. |

TayserMahri:we won d Afcon d last time we appeared there (2013) we won d u-17 world Cup in that same year. d nations cup is already our ladies' birthright. Ghana won d Afcon last in 1982, talk about olden days to someone else. |

theenchanter:So your soccer level hasnt dropped? There were times in the Kanu era you used to look like Brazil. Now I cant even believe what I see. The team that won in 2013 was still shyte. Even if you win this one it would have nothing to do with you being good. Just the same way Brazil is shyte now even if they won it. Anyway, Ghanaians heard me exalting them and decided to be careless. |

theenchanter:Down there doesnt matter much. Ukraine also won the u20 WC the other day but at senior level they dont make any impact. And they were playing South Korea in the final, another football minnow at senior level. So when we talk about football we must be clear that its senior football. |
| Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by theenchanter: 10:50pm On Jun 25, 2019 |
TayserMahri:but football is a sport for diff levels. U can be good in junior or senior team or vice versa. The good thing is any of our football team always win a competition they're involved in, if it's not d ladies, it'll be d junior, senior or Olympic team. Our present senior team is actually better than d 2013 set. |

theenchanter:Which one will you win this year? Your females were knocked out quite embarrassingly I think they didnt win a single game, Ukraine took the U20, England took the U17. No way the current squad could be better than the 2013 set. I mean look at Iwobi. The fella is playing shyte. Obi Mikel is spent. Ndidi has made no impact. Musa is too busy organizing a general pay strike to play well. I think in the whole squad only Ighalo is doing sth. At least the 2013 squad had no pay issues to worry about. |

TayserMahri:Our ladies already won d west africa n africa cup of nations this year, they lost to Germany in round of 16 in d world Cup. Our last match against Burundi was a test of position for players, Mikel and iwobi played out of position while we used an unexpected striker, everything changed when musa was brought in to take iwobi's place and iwobi played d creative role while ighalo was brought in for d striker.... Mikel is not really needed in d team, just a cover-up in midfield at loss time. Really? Ndidi is my favourite nigerian player. Mikel overburdened d guy in midfield. The guys one of d top defensive midfielders in europe. |
