The President for the Republic of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo is currently in Egypt to watch Ghana's first AFCON game against Benin later today.

Nana Akufo-Addo made a promise when he hosted the players and officials of the team at the Presidency before their departure to Dubai for the pre-tournament camping.

He said should Ghana qualify to the final, he would again be in Egypt to motivate the Black Stars to win the AFCON trophy which has eluded the nation for the past 37 years.

The President in the early hours of Tuesday held bilateral discussions with the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, His Excellency Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, aimed at strengthening the ties of co-operation that exists between the two countries.

Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to be in Ismailia to watch the Black Stars take on the Squirrels of Benin at the Ismailia Sports Stadium later today.

In 2017 it was 2.5m metric tonnes and you will be super stupid to say all Benin's rice import came to Nigeria. Remember,they are 11m people. If 90% comes to Nigeria, that's 2.2mmt. Cameroon never did 1mmt.
If added up all the parboiled rice imported by those countries is hardly 3mmt.If 90% comes to Nigeria, then that's around 2.7mmt.

So basically if Nigeria consumes over 7mmt and out of this 2.7mmt is smuggled in,that means Nigeria consumes about 4.3 locally produced rice.It means by your own claims Nigeria is indeed Africa's largest rice producer.

Down there doesnt matter much. Ukraine also won the u20 WC the other day but at senior level they dont make any impact. And they were playing South Korea in the final, another football minnow at senior level. So when we talk about football we must be clear that its senior football.
