PremiumTimes,another formerly good outfit now going to the gutter. These were media,like SR that had good times under GEJ with a lot of their stories making it unto newspaper pages and nairaland because of it's authenticity and very obvious investigative reporting involved. Now under this government they are all turning into glorified blogs because they have either been bribed or coerced into looking the other way while the Buhari government commits atrocities, humongous corrupt deeds and crimes against the nigerian state and people. How could they have been so off the mark in this Amosun story? Shameful. |

Much ado about nothing. Some mischievous people were making it look like Amosun was illegally stockpiling weapons. Nonsense. These are weapons he legally acquired for the Police in his State. And the Police Commissioner is talking about disarming the Governor. Yeah right. |

That's what I was saying yesterday. All these outcry was to bring amosun down and I love him for ignoring the whole jargons totally. Every govt house have armory in Nigeria which is under the law, so why all these lullabies to bring amosun down? Even at that, the man did hand those ammunitions to the police way back in 2012 and premium times sounded it like it happened yesterday. Nigeria media has gone to the gutters. Even the so called Sahara Reporters is now a brown envelope media outfits. That's how they reported that Nigeria govt kept Nnamdi Kanu on a floating ship somewhere in bayelsa state which wasn't true. Before you believe anything you read online, wait like 4 days after. Lastly, all the state houses in Nigeria have guns, bullets, armoured tanks, bulletproof vests etc stockpiled in them till date. |
