Lagosians nightmare has finally arrived, the rain. Ever since the rain started in early May, virtually every part of Lagos has felt its magnitude, from Badagry to Mile 2 to Festac, Apapa and the lists are endless. Even the wealthy folks at Lekki are not left out as the home has turned to natural swimming.

This is Apapa, after the rain in Lagos. See pictures below...

They rain is still falling and we're in the season. If Lagos state government took its time to create proper drainage system in Lagos, most of this flood won't be happening.

Lagos is a coastal city, scenes like this will always happen. You need to see the effect of the downpour in Texas recently. Same happens in NY
