COZA, The Nigerian Hypocrisy by rejoice4eva(op): 1:49pm On Jun 30, 2019
A woman was arrested for committing adultery , note, the man was above the law, and she was taken to Jesus for confirmatory judgement, Jesus did not argue with them, He just told them that the only one among them without sin, similar and related, to cast the first stone.John 8:1-11. Today, homosexuals ,Husband snatchers ,drug addicts and abusers , corrupt alcoholics, liars , fornicators , killers and cultists, etc are all condemning and fighting a Church because of an accusation. Pure hypocrisy
When are we all going to rise up to fight daylight raping of our nation by the evils in authority? Stop the hypocrisy, stop fighting the living church of God
Re: COZA, The Nigerian Hypocrisy by greatnaija01: 2:26pm On Jun 30, 2019
Church is an easy target. In the book of ACTS, they took JAMES.... killed him.... then the church became alarmed and alert... then they proceeded to take PETER.... then the church became PRAYERFUL...... and He was released.

People never seem to learn.

Chris Oyakhilome's divorce was full of shady stories too and yet in God's mercy He grew and is waxing stronger.

Iginla's double marriage report flooded the airwaves too but didnt gain major attention before it died down.... and now He is still increasing in membership... no one told him to step down.

Johnson suleman was accused with serious pics evidence YET.... the lady came to beg and plead that she was paid to do it.... He is still growing strong in the lord today.

this COZA own too shall pass.... because it is a mere distraction.

Nigeria is in big trouble and those who should be praying are busy carrying placards FOR or AGAINST one man.

The devil is the ACCUSER of the brethren...NOT THE FALSE ACCUSER but the ACCUSER.

So this matter calls for prayer. Protest can not solve spiritual problems.

If only u had sense I won't need to write this. Because any sensible person will know that in the case of the adulterous woman the accusers we're just looking for justification to commit murder or grave injury to a woman who might as well be innocent of any crimes infact with the treatment women endured those times the man could have raped her and still reported it as adultery so as go guage public opinion and put the woman in grave troubles. Secondly is there anyone without sin? Even in the church there are sinners among those we hold in high esteem is there anyone who can at every point in time boast of sinlessness. Is it not Grace that we enjoy there is nobody who is sinless. David, Abraham, Moses, Peter all sinners. Nobody is fighting the church. Nobody can fight the church since when did one man become "the church" that any form of rebuke or condemnation is seen as an assault on "the church". One person is not a church the coming together of two or more people makes a church. One person cannot make a church. I don't see anybody mentioning redeem, winners, chosen or who so ever in this war of opinions they are all concentrating on one individual. " Daylight raping of our nation by evils in authority" this is where you were most senseless daylight raping by EVILS IN AUTHORITY tell me are evils only existent in places of political authority? Are evils only existent and raping in places of political, economic and social authority? No.
In the "church" (now I'm referring to the organizational body) are there not evils there. Are there not evils individuals daylight raping there don't we hear endless news and facts of the daylight raping happening inside church buildings and perpetrated by authority in the church? So we should face our "evils in authority" and pertend like evils in the " living church of God" are non-existent? To you this is wise. So we should face one cancer and pretend like there is none eating up the other parts because we are all hypocrites. you should have simply suggested that we dismantle the police and law enforcement authority and then dismantle the Constitution and customs and norms and everybody can do as they please with no repacaution and anybody can kill, rape destroy or damage what ever they like, you know why because we are all "pure hypocrites" so the police should not arrest because we are all pure hypocrites the Judges should not convict because we are all pure hypocrites infact if your child steals don't discipline because we are all pure hypocrites.
Finally
Living church of God and in that living church of God so called men of God are committing attrocities and to you and attack on them is an attack on the living church of God shouldn't the living church of God be the standard of righteousness? If unrighteousness is severely rampart is that not a cause for concern
How will there not be homosexuals, husband snatchers, drug addicts........... When even within the living church of God we are condoning rubbish is the Catholic Church not under scrutiny due to priests engaging young boys in sexual intercourse in the "living church of God"
So the " living church of God" is now a place to commit haneous crimes and get away with it imagine?

Wether or not the accusations are true 2 people have publicaly come out to reveal their experiences more people have said things that support the belief that these accusations may be true and more people are coming forward. The truth doesn't hide
We cannot condem the accused neither can we seat down and pretend like there is nothing to be condemned
OP

So, we should keep quiet about sin in the church because Jesus let a woman caught in adultery go?

Note that Jesus did not tell her to go and continue in her past life...He told her to go and sin no more.

You Nigerian christians....at the end of the day, you would be asking God why he is not hearing you...when you are condoning sin in His House.

The God we Christians serve does not make us a judge and He is not interested in the death of a sinner. To Him , everyone is a sinner in need of repentance and never qualify to judge or condemn afellow sinner which is what you and I are. And He doesn't condone sin either, but He gives us power to live above sin

yes it will pass so will the corruption and embezzlement of billions of naira by greedy politicians pass
So will fulani herdsmen killing and disseminating pass like, so will Boko Haram bombing, shooting and maiming people pass so will bad health facilities pass so will all other evils ravaging Nigerians pass........ because is a mere distraction
Nigeria is in big trouble because the people who are meant to lead the young through a path of righteousness and commitment to standing for the truth are either preaching rubbish or practising rubbish or preaching right but practising wrong. The people who should be rigorously protesting and fighting for their rights are praying for their rights and hoping that their rights will be awarded to them by prayer. With all the brethren in this country the ACCUSER is still successfully destroying people
So why don't we pray when Boko Haram is killing everybody in sight as protests cannot solve spiritual problems and pray as fulani terrorises people as protests can't solve spiritual problems and pray as our economy is dying as protests cannot solve spiritual problems.

So why are you defending a pastor who has been accused of philandering? Who has one confirmed case of violating his marriage vow (Ese)...and has not repented, or shown signs of repenatace or submitting oneself to accountability.

Why are you defending people like Iginla and Oyakilhome...people who could not keep their house, yet still pastor.

Yes, their church is growing...but I will tell you something....Cancer grows rapidly. Is cancer good?

Jeroboam was a proseprous king of Israel. Yet he was a sinner. God sent Amos against him. Amos was driven out of Israel for telling the truth. Years later...the Assyrians came for Israel.

See, Nigeria is suffering because we are hiding sinners in the church. We are calling them Men of God, and our heroes. After we would be asking God why he is not helping us against Boko, Herdsmen, etc...

You better follow Jesus. Stop following Man of God. They need to follow Jesus too.

And before you start...the church is suffering losses in the USA because of the antics of bad men of God over there.

If God , who is the greatest judge will mark our iniquity, who will be able to stand? Christianity is not religion. It is deeper than human philosophy and imagination. John 3

It doesn’t excuse the MOG.
If pastors should be allowed to sleep with their followers daughters and wives then what is the actual philosophy of Christianity?

Exactly.

If we cannot follow God's word on fornication, adultery and sexual purity, why should we follow God's word on anything else?

Nigerian Christianity get problem. Now I understand why problem dey Nigeria...the supposed light is very dark.

Truth hurts. We shall know the truth and the truth shall set us free. So it is only in the church we are hiding sinners, what about the mosques, government offices, . While is the church alone singled out for persecution. For your information I don't follow man, but there are still genuine, selfless and truthful leaders, both in the church and out side that we can learn from.

Oga.....in case you did not know...as God's chosen people we are HELD to a much higher standard than anyone who is not a Christian.

Infact, that is what the Bible is all about. God chose us...therefore we have to live up to his standard...and if we don't he will disgrace us...same way he disgraced the children of Israel several times when they sinned against him. Same way he said he would disgrace the Ladiocean Christians for being lukewarm.

My friend...go and read your bible. Go and follow Jesus. You are SO concerned for the image of the Chruch that you forget that IT is not your job to protect the image of the Church.

You are so concerend for the image of the Church that you are conniving to hide sin?

Do you know that people are leaving the church worldwide because people like you are saying that we should hide sin so that the church should not be shamed? Is it the image of the church we should be concerned about...or our state with God?

If we continue on this path, by the time God decides enough is enough and exposes us well well....

Please.....follow Jesus. FOLLOW JESUS. I know i am a yeye christrian....but this yeye christian knows that Jesus told Peter las las...FOLLOW ME!

Christianity is not about titles, either pastor, GOs etc, we are all expected to be holy and remove speck in our eyes , and stop looking for logs in our brothers eyes. A genuine Christian may fall into, error, the church has a duty to investigate, discipline, correct, and after genuine repentance the fellow is restored., not all these malicious condemnations

All these sponsored, Ill motivated and wicked attacks against the church can not stop the church from moving forward. How I wish all the goods, sacrifice, success and great deeds of the Church are much publicized. Not withstanding, great men of God in His vineyard are quietly making the desired impact irrespective if the handiwork of detractors
