I think the motion of this game was to rest some palyers and test few others, ( won't blame coach on that, some of us here called for that) however ighalo shouldn't have started as well because I'm quite sure Nigeria is not that good with crossing especially from the flanks, I was expecting Oyenkuru not that Ighalo again, I hope the coach don learn his lesson by now.

Pls return Akpeyi, ( was not his fan after all)

No more oyinbo wall abeg. Ekong and omeruo

Always Ndidi and Etebo

Mikel can even hang his boots now, always iwobi abeg ( wished we have alternative)

Chukwueze and Simon Moses seem ok, cuz the later is very good with crossing.

Let just play with mobility ( just like we did in the yr 2013) not just stupid longball always and use Onyekuru upfront for God sake instead of sluggish Onuachu and Ighalo..

No small team in African football again. U don't used football to judge the strength of a nation. We lost to Algeria in Algiers 90 by 5 goals to 1. We still played in the final with relatively unknown players apart from Yekinni.

You've got a point here. I look at how Pep transformed Sterling/ Klopp on Salah. Some coaches can develop players. But the issue of scouting is complex from the Nigerian perspective. Most atimes the so called 'scouts'are being sorted. Remember most people play football in Nigeria. We need unbiased scouts that are not influenced by money to get Nigeria the right talents. They full, home and away.
YoungAncient1:
Mikel is NOT THE PROBLEM OF THIS TEAM. The inability of our scouts to discover quality playmakers/players in each wings. Also, the INABILITY OF THE COACH TO DEVELOP A MASTER PIECE FROM ANY OF THE PLAYERS HE GAS IS WHAT WE SHOULD BLAME.

TRUTH BE SAID, WHICH PLAYER HAS IMPROVED SINCE HE BEGAN PLAYING UNDER ROHR? CAN THE COACH COME OUT AND SAY I MADE THIS PARTICULAR PLAYER? Maybe UZOHO, BUT WHAT CAN WE SAY ABOUT HIS ABILITY?
SO, WE Have a technical adviser that is neither technically superior to any of our local coaches or has any developmental abilities.

You're very 100% correct. It's better Super Eagles don't go to AFCON while we support any team we want as Nigerians. The two matches we won was by luck.We will get out of AFCON in the 16th round
Be optimistic... Nigeria will win this trophy and Nairaland will remember that I said so.

Akpeyi may return but Ezenwa was not at fault for any of the goals.

[quote author=priceaction post=79815710]Who is our next opponent? I heard probably Ghana. Can it be that this match is sold out? The way that first goal came is questioning. Despite the fact that they are not pushing forward, and Madagascar played well, can it be they deliberately played the way they wanted? Next oppenent and huge odd betting? Imho

ATM it's looking lyk it's Ghana. I hope not

Lolzzzz no wonder we have Ighalo and Onuachu as our main strikers lol

Ighalo wasn't Isolated he can't take on defenders. That's why he should have played other strikers. Oynekuru was on the bench. We only needed a draw to win the group. The mindset of our coach is poor. He should have tried the other strikers we haven't seen today. The starting 11 was poor. Dey had just 1 shot on target.

The guy was isolated abeg, he had DMs playing behind him and our wingers were not helping him either.

A team where:
1. Akpeyi is the best keeper
2. Omeruo is the best defender
3. Mikel is the most creative midfielder.
4 Iwobi is the most versatile player.
5. Ighalo is the best striker.
6. Musa is your super sub

That's a team that can't be dependent on.
Oya write list of better team of players correct guy.

Datazone:
Firstly, for those saying we should play Ezenwa, I think you're satisfied now. Akpeyi is definitely our Number 1.

This coach is not a winning material. He played musa off his flank, musa crosses were just finding the hands of Madagascar keeper. The SE has not lost to an African side for the past 2 years, Rohr has made a new record for us. Chukwueze on the bench is not a good idea, Ighalo should always come as a sub. Musa is a starter which is good.
Its wicked to blame the keeper for those goals. If Akpeyi was there those goals would probably have entered.
