EXCLUSIVE!!! Busola Dakolo, Aaramide Abe, Goge Africa, David Agu, Other Female Entrepreneurs Speak At Boss Lady Conference

Themed "The Goal-Getter Woman", Boss Lady Conference 2019 turned out to be an impactful meeting for the hundreds of female entrepreneurs, business professionals and career women who, from diverse geographical, cultural, and professional backgrounds, converged in the palatial Ball Room of the prestigious Oriental Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria on June 1, 2019.

The Event was scheduled to begin by 9am. But as early as 5 am, a heavy downpour appeared to test the resolve of not just the organisers but also the ready attendees of Boss Lady Conference 2019.

However, Oriental Hotel, by 7am, started witnessing an 'invasion' of business women from across Lagos and parts of Nigeria, who seemingly were unfazed by the torrential rainfall that morning.

Clad in their respective gorgeous business casual, one after the other, the attendees went through a quick physical registration, conducted by professional protocol female officers. About 400 attendees were admitted, even though the organisers (The Entrepreneur Africa) had selected a total 500 out of the over 1600 female entrepreneurs who signed up for the conference via the registration portal.

From Nkoyo Inwang, the professional etiquette facilitator, to Aaramide Abe, Founder of Naija Startups, to Nneka Isaac-Moses, MD of Goge Africa and Africa's Queen of Tourism, to Busola Dakolo, a Pro Photographer and Founder of Skills Kitchen, to Nigeria's Seasoned Economist, Chinwe Egwim of FBNQuest Merchant Bank, to Didi Warmate, CEO of Lagos Matchmaker, businesses were birthed, improved, resuscitated and re-engineered.

In his own very words, David Agu, Esq, CEO of The Entrepreneur Africa, remarked during his welcome address that: 'Boss Lady Conference is indeed shaping and transforming businesses managed and run by our african women. It is, arguably, Africa's largest gathering of female entrepreneurs, business professionals and career women. Evidence abounds to show that the average African woman is visionary, enterprising, and ambitious. Hence, the need for a platform that will not only allow her express herself but will also serve as a recharge depot. This was what gave birth to Boss Lady Conference.'

Attendees of the conference also expressed their appreciation to The Entrepreneur Africa for organising, in one of the attendees’ words, 'a game-changer' conference.

Some times I ask myself what if you are timi dakolo and your wife tells you that she was going to tell the world something that happened(if it truly happened) some 17yrs ago, will timi say no, I don't think so becos if he says no, she will rain down fire and brime stone on him calling him all kinds of names. There's something I don't get about this rape story and I somewhat need clarification..
She said the Pastor raped her when she was 17 years old or there about..... So why was she still attending the church till adulthood and even married in the church... Most rape victims are scared to even come face to face with their attackers after the incident and even in many years to come.... The story looks somehow to me.

Did you watch the four part video? In one she actually named two pastors that came with pastor Fatoyinbo to beg her parents after she told them what happened. Why didn’t those pastors come out to say that never happened? I just watched the videos today, she actually told her parents and her brother tried to stab the pastor but other church members intervened. He never denied that part of the story, he just said he never had sexual relations with her.

I don’t know why parents forgive rapists but don’t even think of the victim.
