There’s a farm investment that offers 17.5% ROI in 3months & 37.5% ROI in 6 months.

45k after 9 years would give you about N138,000.

Key assumptions:
12% compounding annual interest rate;
with zero tax and charges.

The only way to maximize returns on your savings is to subscribe to a reincurring savings plan on a monthly or quarterly basis. Leaving your 45k in the hands of almighty inflation for 9 years might lead to regrets. The purchasing power or value of that 138k in 2028 may be lower than the purchasing power of 45k in 2019. Meaning what 45k will give you in 2019, that 138k in 2028 wouldn't give you.

As per your question, I think you should invest in mutual fund. Only problem is mutual fund allows you to withdraw easily at any time, hence your 9 year target won't work. You can consider bond but you have to raise your capital to at least 100k, or 1m in some instances.

Let's see, in order to beat inflation and make sizeable profit along the way, you can try govt bonds (you might need more cash though). Starting with what you have, try the link in my bio (they pay sizeable interest rates - compound interest would do the rest. They also offer other forms of investments that you can jump on with that amount and get upto 17% annually - more than mutual funds). Download the app and browse thru their investments options. Thank me later grin
