In this 21st century, Ranches appears the only realistic solution to farmers-Herdsmen frequent clashes. Herders should pay for occupied space(s) like any other private business owner, they shouldn't expect a zero expenditure on a high yielding investment like cattle rearing. If snail farmers can be paying their taxes, levies and dues why will our big men who are real owner of those cows want to evade paying taxes? Moreover why will people pay for shops ,land and other facilities up North and you want a free share of their inheritance down south, it is illogical and unreasonable. Such attitude negate the spirit of fairness, justice and equity. No citizen of Nigeria should be considered more relevant or important than another, if at all they are. This ''we own this country'' mentality by the fulanis should therefore stop while our collective desire for a secure, progressive and prosperous nation where everyone play according to the rule should be of prior concern.
