Sometimes we are the ones who embolden these fulani terrorists with utterances like these which present us as bargaining from a weak position. When Benin City youths gave it to Fulani Herdsmen blood for blood last week at Ofunwengbe junction on Benin-Lagos Expressway, a lot of folks here threatened that the run away Fulanis would return for reprisal attacks. But till now nothing like that and not likely to ever happen as many other cases where murderous Fulanis were caught and given jungle justice in Edo State have not recorded any such reprisal. In essence there is no longer any basis for such feeling especially in the South where they really don't have permanent houses hence can't really find a place to regroup and plan without being found out again through the intelligence gathering of the local vigilantees who have proven to be far more effective than the over centralized police.
