Wow I like the comments so far, no ethnic bashing or tribal sentiments nor pdp/apc arguments, it's seems Nigerian youths are about to take their destiny in their own hands. Anytime I pass through that road, mile 2 to agbarah I feel like weeping, the road has been under construction for more than 11years yet no completion, vehicles are destroyed daily, passengers frustrated, traders taking over some part, traffic robbers having field day etc. If you live in that axis you must have some form of BP especially if you are working |

We further stated that the project covers specifically the Agboju to Trade Fair segment as well as the rehabilitation of the Eric Moore – Mile 2 stretch. What then happens to trade fair - Okoko and Badagry axis? |

That was how I put myself in big trouble.June 12,I decided to go to trade fair. Meeen, the stress I went through that day on that road... Was asked to come back through Tedi only for my car engine to end its life their. The shaft was also affected. A mechanic named Lekan was called to help fix the car. He suggested buying a tokunbo (fairly used) engine. A tokunbo engine was bought, it has a new engine number. Was asked to go for police report and sworn affidavit. The mechanic is always giving one excuse or the other. Today he's sick, tomorrow the electrician he asked to come couldn't make it. He promised getting another today. I pray it's fixed today. All cos I went to trade fair ooo. It's really devastating. |

See many people commenting here don't know the history of that road.. This is the road Ambode abandoned for over 4 years if the guy continue the work on that road the road ought to be commissioned this year |

I worked on that project 9yeaes ago on the rail project from The national theatre to mile2. the road project was awarded to Julius berger back then and they delivered d project in due time. I was surprised to learn dat the contract for the construction of the road was re-awarded to the Chinese. now its been 10years and nothing is happening there, even the rail stations That have been completed area abandoned. the project was started by FASHOLA,he passed it on to AMBODE,now its SANWO EKO. I can tell you authoritatively that that project won't be completed in the next 5years. |

joyfullyjoyous:I stopped plying that route when I passed through one faithful Sunday to AJANGBADI. I spent 4hours going and 5hours coming back. the holdup was hellish and it was like a war zone. half of the total okada in Lagos is located on dat road. it was then that I swore with my life that I won't ply that road again, except its fix |

Wow! God bless Sanwo if this is truth. It was so frustrating passing through this road, I was cursing our wicked rulers. That nonsense woman wrapper Ambode did absolutely nothing about this road but spent billions on Oshodi project. That thief should be arrested. |

Do we need a jamboree of flag-off to commence a project? What should excite the people instead is movement of construction machines and equipment to site |
| Re: Lagos State Government Resumes Construction Of The Ten-Lane Lagos-Badagry Road by dwas: 9:50am On Jul 04, 2019 |
kingololo:Thank you. We can easily be swayed. All those claiming Ambode did well in Lagos have no clue of how government works. Flaunting Bus stops and few road infrastructure are not the main thing in governing a state. Maintenance is the key thing. Ambode is the worst that have ever happen to Lagos State. |

Obainoneandonly:Lie, if only Ambode did not abandoned this project, it be nearing completion now. One useless man was arguing with me over this matter, the truth is that Ambode would rather serve his pocket than the people. All the contracts started by Ambode received 100 % mobilization fees, all he needed to do is pay contractors to finish this project, as fashola is already working on it but no, he will rather embarrass himself. |

7lives:but the project was funded jointly by both Lagos and federal government. if ambode didn't give it due attention what about federal government, did they too abandon it the same way you claim ambode did. the railway stations from national theater to mile2 have been completed since, what stops them from making it functional by operating commercial rail from theatre to mile2. bro, sometimes you just have to agree that our politicians are all d same |

AutoReportNG:Promise kept? Far from it. That Road was conceptualized by Tinubu and blueprint handed over to Fashola during his first campaign as Governor of Lagos state. After Fashola's eight years (which former tenants and landlords especially around Orile will not forget in a hurry) and Ambode's 4years we are still where we are. To complicate issues the road was then sectioned to 3, Eric Moore to Mile 2, Mile 2 to Okokomaiko and Okokomaiko to Seme. after Fashola became a Federal Minister, Of which Lagos state was to handle Eric Moore to Okokomaiko and FG to handle Okokomaiko through Agbara-badagry to seme. Now where I'm confused is you brought Ferma into the mix and assigned a portion meant for Lagos state to them. My confusion is, is Lagos state government franchising a portion of its section to FG agencies, was it an error on your part or LASG is planning to abandon that portion of the road? |

. Lagos started the expansion, please complete it up to Agbara; why stopping at Trade Fair? What about all the structures demolished for Right of Way up to Agbara. Please Sanwo, finish what Fashola started and get the job done. |

Dottore:i don't argue blindly Julius Berger built orile road n its still motor able but come to trade fair where ur glorified ccecc built see aw people now ply the road. Everything ccecc built under former governor Ambode is as we speak going to be rebuilt again cos it was far much worse than they were before the useless construction n waste of human effort |
