Again waste of scarce resources ... Is rail way important absolutely necessary for development But we don't have money debt servicing for Buhari debts would start next year ...debt servicing is currently 95% of revenue ....by next year expect 150% minimum Every resources spent should be towards revenue generating projects , ports in South south , toll gate construction , soft loans to specific sectors of the economy especially import substitution n export oriented business With deregulation of petrol if dollar get to 1500 petrol would get to 1950 ooh ...just saying 3 Likes 2 Shares |

I’m very glad. People don’t know that this project when completed will facilitate the transportation of cheap food and agriculture produce from arable Northern plains of Taraba, Plateau, Benue and Adamawa, down to South East as the rail covers the entire SE up to North East. Food arriving SE will subsequently become cheaper as no police to roger train, and no bad road to hike train faires, as it is obtainable in road transportation. May Tinubu succeed. 34 Likes 2 Shares |

Vixlot: You can lie to yourself but not someone like me who lives in Port Harcourt. They were working on that rail project before Tinubu was sworn in. That project belongs to last administration and not the drug baron you clowns are desperately trying to eulogize for some job he didn't perform.🐧 1 Like |

Hopefully president Tinubu can also try to make the Calabar - Lagos rail line a reality too. If it was to start from Sad yeast, i definitely would go against it, we don't need more savage okoros in our lands but as it starts from Calabar and it will pass through Ondo state, i so much look forward to it. 3 Likes 1 Share |

GeneralPula:Abandon the project channel the money into revenue generating projects .. balance our revenue to debt difference to 30% then use the revenue to do projects like this Your business is dying Instead of investing back your sales n profit ...you take revenue not profit oh to complete your private house in the village Then ask people that complain if u should abandon your building project Is that a smart business man ? 1 Like |

Ebubu2: It should be the prayer of every Nigerian that Tinubu succeeds ...he is the driver at the wheel! If he messes up .....everyone suffers! If he elects to deal with Ndi-igbo as Buhari did ...his government will crash before it begins............. Buhari failed woefully cos he sought to fight imaginary enemies!!! |

mrvitalis:One oe the enemies of the state spotted. To these Aba-made illiterates, infrastructure is a waste of resources, a project that would potentially open up the eastern corridor and connect the west to the east and the east to the north. I wouldn't blame you tho, when people lose mondays to sit-at-home,such a people are usually more bereft of the understanding of productive activities 3 Likes |

mrvitalis:Rail is super important when one considers the cost of logistics, security, and how much the steel industry could benefit from such projects. Only yesterday, we saw pictures of a steel plant that was inaugurated in Anambra state. Imagine what such project could mean for such a company's revenue. Air transport is the safest means of transport, followed by rail, water, and lastly road. Why then shouldn't we promote the establishment of rail transport services given our current security challenges (which thankfully has been improving lately). I honestly don't see any reason why anyone would be saddened by this news, except for sheer hatred for anything good of course. 5 Likes 1 Share |
