Kindly make a choice for me out of the three phones mentioned with good reasons as i am currently confused at the moment.

XIAOMI REDMI K20 PRO: Would have been my automatic choice because it has everything i need in a phone, but it doesn't have memory card slot, i play around and tweak phones alot, because of this all my files are stored on memory card, i don't store files on the phone memory @ all to prevent loss of files when things go wrong with my phone.

SAMSUNG A70 : It can accept dual sim card and a micro sd card @ a time, it also has its finger print scanner on the screen just like k20 pro, but i feel k20 pro has a better spec than it.


XIAOMI REDMI NOTE 7 PRO: I considered it as a close substitute to Samsung A70 when i thought about the Samsung and it's cheaper than A70, my turn offs about it are: the position of finger prints scanner @ the back, i prefer it @ the front as it's more convenient for me and it has hybrid sim( Though i can work around it with a sim adapter, though i don't know how efficient hybrid sim adapters are)


The features i talked about above are the distinguishing features which i am seriously considering before settling for any of the phones. I need input on this as i am totally confused.

A70 rear cam is.... quite bad.. generally soft pictures during the day... horrible at night... so sad cos it was either that or Note 7 pro or K20 jus like yours

If money is not a factor,then the Redmi K20 Pro is a no brainer..

Sometimes i wonder while this phonemakers spoil an amazingly valued device by refusing to include little features that wont cost a fortune to do so...
Expandable storage and a lot of LTE bands would have made that phone a no brainer!!
That's why I respect Samsung... Headphone jack, expandable storage, QHD+ display all inclusive... No excuses!!

But Samsung omitted IR blaster. That little thing is what is still gluing me to Xiaomi devices. I can't imagine my phone not able to remotely control my different gadgets at home and office

If Samsung can do ir blaster, then I will switch over to Samsung completely and hold an elaborate retirement service for all Xiaomi devices I ever used and salute them all for their great service combined together for more than 3 years.

Another thing to note, Samsung has better resale value than Xiaomi.

Let me make something clear to y'all, the one main reason that slows down a phone is software bugs, yes software bug can make your phone so slow that you think the processor or rams is less powerful or low. So my advice is get a device that promises regular updates. Updates is almost like clearing a device cache which will improve its speed. For instance I was almost planing on changing my Xiaomi note 5 coz it was running almost slowly when surprisingly I was sent an update notification just few days ago, I clicked and followed the process and my device upgraded from android 7 to the latest 9 pie and I was surprised how fast the device started running. It was running like I just bought a new device, I didn't upgrade any memory and it's still the same 2gig rams, no wonder apple devices runs as smooth even with 1gig rams.

My advice,go for devices with regular updates, either iPhone, Xiaomi, Nokia. Even an iPhone 7 is still better than these latest so called new devices. The reason why a new phone runs fast is because of the new latest softwares in it, once those software gets out of date and you don't update the device will become slow.

do you use the galaxy A70, is the camera disappointing

the k20 pro is the way to go, you can get otg flash if you're worried about external storage, but if you've "zeroed" your mind from the k20pro because of sd card, please buy what you like and leave us in peace
